Ladies Beware
If you want your natural hair to flourish, go somewhere else. Some stylists in particular don't seem to be knowledgeable of how to properly take care of natural hair, even though they claim to specialize in it. I originally sought out this salon to take me further on my natural hair journey and they only brought me backwards. It's as if the stylist I went to purposely wanted to damage my hair. I went to her for simple treatments and it was as if each one took my hair out more and more. Managing natural hair is hard enough as it is, and this salon did not ease the process. Ladies take it from me, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

To provide a more RECENT review which they seem to be lacking....I had a pain-free scheduling experience. They have an online system that lets you look at the services followed by the stylists that can perform them. What I really appreciate is that she has the prices listed so there is no surprises and you know what to expect upfront. Now the things that I didn't like is there was one general phone number which they didn't answer at all, and no direct way to contact your stylist after booking an appointment. There is plenty of parking which is a plus and the shop is in a great location too. The salon was easy to find and they open on time! The stylist's were super duper friendly and welcoming, I felt as if I stopped by my best friend's house to get my hair done lol. I also appreciate the fact that my stylist was knowledgeable and really cared about my hair. she informed me of what products to use and how to keep my hair healthy she gave me options of what could be done then and there and how to maintain. I will make this my one stop shop for hair appointments!

Wonderful experience! I was able to book my appointment online, and reserve with a credit card. Loved that feature because when it was time to pay, the receptionist simply charged the card on file.
My hair is awesome! I am natural with some breakage, but Mariah assessed with status of my hair and treated it accordingly. My mane is tamed thanks Miss MG!

The salon is spacious.  You do not feel like you are sitting on top of each other. Great location. Very professional and the staff is very friendly, cool and hip. Ashlee Rene is my stylist. SHE'S AMAZING!!!  She specializes is healthy hair care. She will not just do anything to your hair... even if u beg.  Ashlee keeps me beat and on fleek

Mariah and her staff are hands down a great quality team. I love the energy and the environment here. When you find quality you stick to!!!!! There are salons that carry drama and rage everyday all day. Mariah doesn't allow that in her place of business! No one is coming to sell you purses, pies, cakes or gumbo in the summertime!!!
