So I read online that they had covid precautions in place. I made an appointment for a pedicure. When I arrived they took my temp but not a single staff was wearing a mask. I saw at least 6 people working there and not one was wearing a mask. When I mentioned this to my nail tech she seemed irritated and said "we wear them all the time" and then went and got hers and put it on. I'm disappointed and disgusted that our local businesses that want to be open are not following basic protocol. I will NEVER return to Merle Norman. They are part of the problem.
I had my hair permed last week. Immediately my curls become loose which is not normal. I left a review stating I was unhappy with my hair. I was contacted the next day and told to come in, so they could look at my hair. Upon my arrival I was looked at. Where I was told it was my fault my hair was coming loose because I didn't have product in my hair to hold my curls together.... Then I was grabbed by the arm and told that I had go take my review down on Facebook and they would help me. I was told they weren't ignoring me they just worked real hard to basically keep the bad reviews off their Facebook page. Well when I went to have them relook at it. I was told it was my fault my hair looks the way it is and that they told me my hair would be this loose. No they did not!!! I was then told I knew nothing about my hair because I hadn't been a hairdresser for years. They offered no assistance in making me like the way my hair looked or compensation for being upset with the services I recieved. Just told it was my fault and they thought my hair looked nice and that's all that mattered basically.
I flew in about 20minutes before they closed looking for a serum. Very helpful staff and I was happy with my product. On my way out the sales lady said something that made me stop in my tracks. " Thanks for coming in tonight!" Whhhhat? Now in this day of poor manners that was nice to hear. You mean my business is appreciated??? Will be back based on that alone!!!
Beautiful establishment! The most import thing when looking to have your nails (fingers/toes) done is how sanitary are they? This place is that by 100%. The technician (Page) was very friendly, so gentle and did a fantastic job! Their color selection was perfect. They do all natural nails. No gell or acrylic but that's ok. Great place thank you for fitting me in!!
