Meredith's Salon in Christiansburg, VA

I was completely lied to by the workers here. I went in for a consultation before getting my hair done. I asked the price, how long the session would take, if they can do what I asked and they said they could do everything I wanted. I booked the appointment and left with literally nothing done to my hair. No one can even tell I got anything done not even myself or my own mother!! The hairstylist was nice and I am a nice person so I left without complaining but the longer I look at myself the more annoyed I get. I paid so much money for nothing other than 2 splotchy pieces of blond in my hair that is so ugly I might just cut those pieces off. I asked another hairstylist that I know of from back home what they thought and not only do they agree that I was completely scammed by the price, but that the hairstylist didn't know what she was doing and did an awful job. I wish I would've never went to this place and now I'm left with money out of my pocket, bad hair, and my time wasted. Not to mention I now have to go to another stylist to get those random splotchy pieces fixed. This is why people are too scared to get their hair done.

Only giving one star because they were polite. If you want to spend $180 and two hours of your time for absolutely no change to your hair then here's the place for you. He told me she used A weaker developer to protect the integrity of my hair So there was no change to my color. When you says "oh your hairs so soft" before the process begins you can expect the hair to take to the right developer. Don't be scared to actually make a change and if you don't make a change in the hair own up and don't charge full freaking price. Ridiculous. Never again. Don't recommend.

I went to this salon because my hair was over bleached. What I asked for was some additional low lights. What I got was very dark roots and toned all over hair. I even presented a picture of the color I was looking for. My hair is no where near what I showed her. I understand she tried and I appreciate that but this color is darker than my normal hair color and it didn't fix the problem at all. It just gave me a new problem. I just wish people would really listen when you talk to them. Hair is absolutely related to your self esteem. She gets to go on about her life and I have to figure out what to do now. I'm hundreds of dollars in and still hate how I look. This is miserable.

I had a rather unpleasant customer service experience, but the hair service ended up being wonderful. I highly suggest coming in with very specific photos of what you want done and being extremely clear and persistent. My stylist attempted to change my mind about my hair ideas for about 15 minutes straight and called me "crazy" for not listening to her advice and still wanting my original idea. So glad I stuck it out because it turned out absolutely wonderfully!
