Melessa's Ultimate Hair Design in Middletown, DE

I have a sew-in, and in less than a week later, it kept getting tangled and matted. I actually liked the hairstyle the first day; however, the hair texture was not a good choice. Basically, I wasted $700 because it has been only two weeks now, and I am taking it out.

I found Melessa via a google search.  What a great find!  I have never had my hair weaved the way Melessa weaved it.  Very professional and knowledgeable about hair.  I am impressed with her quality of work!  If you want an awesome salon experience with great results schedule an appointment with Melessa!

I have gone here maybe once in 6 years. I went in for a maintenance that normally costs $40-$45 at other salons. Here they charged $80. The prices of course weren't posted anywhere and I wasn't given the amount until after the shampoo. In case anyone is wondering a maintenance is a wash and condition and sit under the dryer and then curl. literally NO other salon in the area charges $80 to wash your hair. When I complained, I was told that she never had any complaints before and that she has a shop in Baltimore and charges the same thing. I just feel it should be more realistically priced. Just my thoughts.

Awful ... Never go here ! I schedule an appointment when I could not get in with the girl who put my wig In so I schedule with Mellissa because my wig was falling out . Was quoted $80-85 on the phone an given a 6 pm appt. got off work early and rushed over had to knock on the door because it was locked then got to sit there  for an hour an 15 mins. Before she took me back . Then the price Changed from $85-250 and her telling how crappie my wig was and trying to sell me hers . When I told her I was not paying $250 it went back to $85 but she don't take a card for payment when I seen the two previous people pay with a card then it's $85 but she can't do it the way I want . Ultimately I just asked her to take the sew in wig out and the braids . She said it would be $25 but never took them out just cut the wig out so I got up and pulled my hair back to leave after 2 hours . Then she asked me if it want to pay cash or charge so basically she charged me $25 to sit there for 2 hours so she could cut my sew in wig out ( I left with my hair still braided) and when I got home to take them out and wash my hair , I had a handful of Hair because when she was cutting out the wig she cut a bunch of my hair .
