My husband went back and waited. They seem to always be very busy. Wait was only 10 min. The haircut was quick and cut right. Will be back. He liked that they don't ask too many questions or make conversation they just do their job and get it done.

I came here to support my local business. With a color change, from dyed dark brown hair to the little mermaid Ariel red on Tuesday. I disclosed what I had recently done to my hair. Time of last color what products I use, & the daily hair regimen I practice on my shoulder length hair. A stylist is much like a gynecologist you must disclose your habits or it could hurt you. I selected the color swatch from colors carried here. She assured me I would walk out with the exact color I had selected. Time frame would be forty to forty five minutes. As time neared my roots had taken to the color but the dyed ends still remained dark. She said I need not worry all would be the same when I left. Time ended she washed, then dried my hair. My non dyed roots about two inches took all the color. I asked what had happened. She responded "because your hair was dyed a really dark brown only your roots took to the color". She asked "do you like it?". I said no. She said "it looks lovely and modern". I asked how soon she could fix it. She looked very upset that I asked and said "eight days because my hair needed to reconstruct itself". I said I would see her Wednesday. She asked "why" I replied to correct it to the color you assured I would leave with. I paid $60.00 dollars and was charged an ATM fee. I let her know I would be back Wednesday. Eight days later I came back she began the process. She bleached my ends piled my hair on top of my roots then massaged it in with her fingers then used a comb and started combing my hair. Clumps started to come out. I said it hurt she said "it needs to be untangled" she continued. When time was done she washed my hair then lightly dried it. She then applied the color. When it processed she washed then dried my hair. The color had taken. She asked " do you like it now?" I said yes and thanked her. She reached for a bottle said " I recommend this to seal and protect the color, it's $20.00 dollars, would you like it?" I said yes and followed her to the register. I thought I would be paying for the sealer I planned on tipping her she grabbed her calculator and said "that's $50.00 for the dye, $35.00 for the lightner, & $20.00 for the sealer so that makes your total $105.00 how will you pay?" I was in a state of shock. She was dead serious. She said " hello how will you be paying. I could see she had every intention to recharge me for what I was originally offered. I pulled my visa out paid signed the receipt . She double checked the receipt and made a face when she seen I had in fact left her no tip. She turned around and called to the man sitting that she was ready to help him now. I walked out not knowing her name, nor thanked. My final cost $165.00. Word of mouth is the best advertising.
