I highly recommend this place!! The atmosphere is chic yet very welcoming. Top notch service and everyone does their best to make sure you get an amazing experience.
I needed someone that knew how to deal with very fine, thin, and a terrible color and awful cut!  
Todd went above and beyond my expectations and fixed this 60 year old woman's hair with a beautiful color and cut that made me look and feel 20 years younger!!

First and last time I'll go to this salon. Unfortunately, this was the worst hair experience I've ever had. And I feel like I got screwed out of my $$$.

1) UNJUST - upcharged $$$ on my hair halfway through the process, so I couldn't say no more being that the bleach was already half applied and in patches. Before the appointment, I asked how much the service would cost for color and cut and they gave me a max. The ending price well exceeded that after they upcharged. Annoyed they upcharged when they previously gave me a max cost.
2) UNFAIR - the max price they originally gave me included a hair cut as well- the hair cut did not happen as it was the end of the day and closing. Still charged me the whole upcharged price.
3) UNTIMELY - it was the end of the day as the appointment took extra time due to the stylist working on other clients while working on my hair. It ended up being about an hour and a half of sitting and waiting for them to work on other clients sporadically while my appointment was going on.
4) UNPLEASANT - one of the times I was waiting on them to work on another client, they had just washed my hair. No towel given and just sat me in a chair with the salon cape on. Hair soaked through the cape soaking my clothes.
5) UNDESIRABLE - there was a weird distinct wavy line of color in a couple places that revealed the hair was colored and not natural looking.

Paid $200 for a touch up and cut! I couldn't believe the price. NEVER have I ever been charged that much. Then when I called to cancel my December appointment I was hung up on. When I called back. Pick up and hang up. If you don't cancel before appt they charge 1/2 of your service.. so here's to hoping in December my card doesn't get charged. I can't even say the service was good as I was rushed because what she didn't tell me was there was another color a only hour after my appointment.  And she didn't even listen to what I asked for for the cut. Have never experienced anything so crazy like this. AND IM A REPEAT CUSTOMER.

I scheduled a low light, root color, trim and style for my birthday gift from my sister. Mathers is the top rated salon in the Tulsa area, so I decided to try the salon again (for the 3rd time) because my sister wanted me to have an updated, more modern look.The other 2 times I went to Mathers, my hair was highlighted ash blonde, a.k.a. gray, in spite of my reiterations that I hated ash blonde.
To ensure that the stylist understood what I wanted done, I scheduled a consult prior to my appointment. I wanted to ensure that my hair was colored and trimmed as close as possible to the photos I showed the stylist.
When I arrived, I again showed the stylist the photos of what I wanted my hair to look like. The stylist proceeded to add the "low lights, " which I requested to be per the photos as dark blonde. After the color, my hair was cut off. My hair was shoulder length, and was cut to mid chin length. And the low lights were 2/3 dark grey - nearly black. Nothing like either of the photos or what I requested. The "trim" was way too short and the color was horrendous. Based on years of previous experience, I thought I'd wait until I washed my hair and reevaluated the result in natural light to determine the extent of the change. It was drastically different than anything I'd had done before.
So after spending $350, I had to highlight my hair myself in an attempt to replicate the photos. The color is now OK. Though way too short, I guess my hair will grow back in a year or so, but I must say the stylist did do a good job on the haircut, albeit not what I wanted.
Just be aware that if you check Mathers social media, you will notice the stylists at Mathers love love  love ash blonde (grey) hair. After 3 trips to 3 different stylists and many hundreds of dollars, I will not return.

This salon came very highly recommended. I made an appt on July 30th for Aug. 9th @ 9:45am (10 days in advance). I chatted with someone about this appt., online, and was offered that appt. at that time (it was on a Monday (should have been a red flag). I told them I would see them then, but I never received a confirmation response or a 'reminder call'.  I called and called...left a voice mail...texted...never got a response...UNTILLLLL...9:00am and I was on my way to my appt. At which time I finally received a return text & was told I "was not on the schedule"!!!  I took a screenshot of our appt. conversation & sent it to the salon, to prove I did.  It was hours before I received a return call.  The conversation began with Todd Mather asking.."Can I help you?"  I had to remind him of who I was and what this was about!  He said he didn't understand what had happened or what was going on...well, someone did...someone, in that salon, made an appt. for me.  He apologized and asked if I could reschedule. I declined.  Maybe it was a 'sign' & this was not the place for me.  If you decide on this salon, do NOT make the appt. online!!  CALL them!!!  So someone will acknowledge you called & made an appt. in the first place. Very disappoint experience!!
