My mom came with me to get her nails done. It was our first time at this salon. My mom is crying, so upset that she spent so much money for nails that she didn't want. She said the nail tech/owner wouldn't listen to what she wanted. I was two seats over so I didn't notice what was going on. She said, "They did my nails their way, not my way. I asked them to put on a new set with shellac and instead they just grinded off my nails (it was a brand new set we got together just two weeks ago) and then put on dip. I did not want dip. But he kept telling me that it was better for my nails and all this other stuff. It was about 6:30 PM when we finally got to our nails so I think he just did not want to spend the time to put on new nails for me. Even though I was perfectly fine to have a fill. Then charged me $80 for my pedi and nails that look so bad, bulky, and bubbly, and smudged, and spots missing on each side of the nail. So not only is it nothing I wanted, the complete opposite of what I begged for... But it's also really messy! He knew I was upset too. It should not have cost $80 for a regular pedicure with regular nail polish, and a dip on my nails. I did not even get a manicure. I went in with nails and came out without nails."
We were the only two customers inside the building. The only other people were the owners and their 5 kids running around. My mom and I were very kind. I paid $75 for my mani and pedi. My mom paid separately for hers and it was $80. We couldn't believe that my fill and pedi cost less than hers. To this day, the owner has never even reached out to apologize. I am also a business owner, I hate leaving bad reviews but people deserve to know how you'll get treated here.
I was surprised it's a guy doing her nails. Regardless, he's a cool conversationalists. He's courteous and my wife, more importantly, is comfortable.
My 1st impression gives them a 5 stars.
