March Beauty Shop in Beaverton, OR

I wish there is 0 star option on Yelp. Should have never gone this place, but we needed my child get hair cut today so we had no chide because I this place was the only place that had an opening. The owner here is the rudest person ever. First thing she said to my child was "Why you have so many pimples on your face. No good." Wtf? Then second thing she said was "You no wash your hair long time?" So I said "he showers everyday. And wash his hair everyday" she replied "no. I don't think so. Look. His hair is so thick. So bad." I said "that's his hair gel" she said "I don't think so.  You no use shampoo. Very bad." After that, she started cutting his hair and all of the sudden, she kind of screamed and said "Ou!!!" so we were like "what happened!" she said "Your hair is so hard, it poke my eye!" and started tearing. Seriously? He it wasn't a middle of hair cut, I would have left, but I needed her to finish her job. At that moment, I just wanted to slap her and leave but I kept my cool. But I'm pretty sure she could tell I was getting upset. So she al of the sudden started being nice and asked my son "Is that your brother and sister?" pointing at me and my husband. I mean, she thought that would make us feel better? Who would fall for that kinda stupid joke? At that point, it was too late, I already had made up my mind that we will never be coming back here, and I knew I was gonna leave a bad comment here. After I'm done writing this review here, I'm gonna go to Google review and leave this exact the same review. She needs to know she is such a horrible human being. No wonder she had no customers before we got there, and while we were there, and this was on Saturday. Oh, forgot to mention about her haircut skill. BAD. My sons hair looks like it was done by 3 years old toddler. People. Don't even think about going there and find other place to go.

I walked into the salon.
Because the barber shop at the base exchange was crowded.
When I entered the salon.
I thought I was going to get a haircut.
But that wasn't the case.
I was the only customer.
But I was refused service.
The woman behind the counter sitting down.
She said she was closed.
But the sign on the door said.
They were opened until 1700 hours.
I was there at 4:30 pm.
If they wanted to close.
Why didn't they lock the door?
Something tells me.
That even though she never ever met me.
She did not won't my business..
My suggestion to anyone seeking  the services of this establishment
To go elsewhere.

Went in for a trim with pictures of length and style (literally just a trim from what I originally had, but I wanted to make sure it was clear) for reference. End result was not *super* horrible, but does not resemble the pics or my original hairstyle at all. It was shorter and just...way way off.

For some reason, the back layers were shorter than the front-which is what I can only assume to be a mistake, since the style I requested had no layers back there at all.

Tried to wait it out a couple weeks before I write a review to see if it'll grow on me, but a couple weeks has passed and I still hate it.

The hairdresser here has faithfully cut my hair since I was young.  Always quality, always efficient, always quick.  She is friendly and personable, and clearly has numerous years of experience under her belt.  I am a loyal customer and will continue to be so in the coming years.

My fiance has been coming to this salon for over a decade.  Owned and operated by a nice Korean lady, this hidden gem has served the Asian community well.
4 stars for:
-consistent quality cuts
-availability (just call to confirm an appointment)
-skill and attentiveness (delivers on feedback during the cut)
-serves the whole family (girls, guys, cuts and perm treatments)

It's not the cheapest place for a cut but the convenience, quality and local business factor keeps the loyal clientele happy.
