I recently made an appointment to get my hair done as I spoke to the owner or hair director on the phone whom assured me Lauren was the perfect person to color my hair. I was concerned as in the past I had mishaps happen where my hair was OVER PROCESSED and broke off. I told her I wanted it blonde and she told me that she would get it "as light as she could"! I didnt know that in her mind she meant as dark as she could with light highlights sayyyyy whattttt??? A picture or something would've been helpful BEFORE she EVER touched my head n I would've said uuhhmmm HELLLL NOOO!!! THEN she asked me is this is as light as you wanted it n I am looking in the mirror going are you kidding me rt now??? Its dark brown I said BLONDE so I gave her tip anyway bcuz thats how I roll n thought maybe it was just bad lighting or it would lighten up in a cpl of washes n that never happened. Uuhhhggg $100 later I had to fix my own hair n spent a total of $250 THE MOST I've EVER spent on getting my hair done...sooo disappointed I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE
McKenzie was super talented, friendly, and kind. She worked me in to her already full schedule and did an amazing blowout and beautiful beach-inspired soft waves to finish the look. The salon was clean and had a relaxing yet elegant feel to it. I would highly recommend McKenzie at Manic Muse!
New to the area, finding a new salon is a tough decision. This salon is friendly and professional with an ambience that makes you want to return. The stylist are excellent ...the ability to book online is a plus. The products are outstanding.
