Mani's & Pedi's: A Boutique Nail Salon in Ridgeland, MS

It was exactly what I was looking for in order to relax and feel pretty.

I was not satisfied, it was our first time going here! My mom was not satisfied and neither was I, I felt as if they didn't take they time or put any effort into their work. I had a full set done and some of my nails are uneven and crooked! I will NOT being going back! If I hadn't said anything about one of my nails, the nail tech would have left one finger out! When we got done with our toes, they didn't have a blower or anything to let our feet dry but to let us walk out with wet painted toes ( very unprofessional). I bumped my toe getting in the car and had to walk in and get it fixed that's the only reason, I am giving them a 3 star review!

On yesterday, I had my very first Mani's & Pedi's experience, and I must say this is by far the best nail salon there is! Customer service is impeccable! The young ladies were very welcoming and eager to go above and beyond with the services offered! With the Covid-19 taking place, I was hesitant about getting my nails done. But, this nail salon is practicing the highest sanitation and cleanliness. I would recommend highly because their services and experiences are unmatched.

I made an appointment to get my nails done on Friday, November 1. The place was nice.
My nails was done with the DIP. I was "ok" with the work that was done when I left. On Wednesday, Nov 5, my nails started to chip, my nails has never chipped that fast  with DIP before, but Sunday, November 10, I had 4 chipped nails. I sent a message to Mani & Pedi via messenger on FB.  They responded right away with:

Hi Shemekia, we apologize for what you've experienced. This is not typical for our clients, and there are various possible causes. For that reason, we can't guarantee the longevity of your nails. We would be happy to take a look at them for you if you would like to come in.

So I went in on Monday, November 11 to show them my nails. Per the techs, that were in, I must have been hard on my hand and asked me if I put my hands in water a lot, which shouldn't matter, I stated not more that usually (dishes, washing hands daily, and bathing). She was not sure why my hands did that, it shouldn't have since it was DIP and DIP normally last 2 weeks. I remembered that my nails was not done with a base coat, she said that she used a Gel base, not sure why.  She went on to say that she couldn't do anything for me and that she would need to notify the Owner, so I gave my name & number.
I received a called 3 days later Thursday, November 14, 2019, "ma'am, I spoke with the owner and we could have fixed your nails if you had come in before the 15th, I replied today is the 14th, and I came in on the 11th.
She went on to say sorry about my experience! Not as sorry as I was trying someone new. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

This is my first experience and my absolute last. They advertise powder dip nails but they do not have a complete system to do that. They use gel base and gel top coat and an ultraviolet light to dry. If you are a pure powder dip fan- like me- don't even think about it. I also had a pedicure done which was ok- not my favorite.
