I would just like to say this hair salon is something else. I am 16 and went through what I can only call depression. I had no motivation to brush my hair and after about a couple months of neglect, it became a matted nightmare! I tried brushing the "dreads" myself and was unsuccessful. I knew that there was a great possibility that I would have to get my hair chopped off, which would have made me cry because I have long hair that I love. I had heard good reviews about the Manhattan Parlor and so I decided to go there. I was honestly not very hopeful that they would be able to save my hair. Boy was I wrong! My stylist Jennifer was excellent! Not only did she remove the rats nest without having to cut my hair, she was personable and so understanding. After the matts were removed, I got a well needed shampoo and a trim. You would never believe my hair was the same because after the Manhattan Parlor and Jennifer, it looks great!
I have been going to Kari Penny for years. Highly recommend her. The Salon has a great ambiance and is located in old downtown Yuma. MJ
I had my hair done by Ginger and loved it! She helped me out so much! My hair is really thick and it's been hard to find a stylist who can layer and thin my hair out the way I want it. She also styled my hair at the end and I have never left a hair salon feeling so excited to show it off to friends and family! I highly recommend you check them out, everyone seemed really nice.
A good salon in Yuma is hard to find but,I needed an appointment on the weekend for a highlight and got in without a problem with Jessica Gutierrez. She did a good job and is willing to give her opinion. Definitely going back.
