Mane FX in Kennewick, WA

First time at this salon and Jo gave me a pedicure. I've tried many mani/pedi establishments in the Tri-Cities and have pretty much given up on finding someone who can give you your money's worth on a pedi. (Feet de-calloused, nails clipped to requested length, no knicks or cuts, smooth and soft feet with a no-mess paint job :) Therefore, I hunch over my feet brandishing nail polish and give myself a free paint job a 5 yr old would undoubtedly do better. Heard about this salon from a friend and I was SUPER impressed with Jo. She did a great job cleaning up my mess and also removing all the callouses. She did the shellac/gel polish but the foot/leg massage alone was worth the cost of admission! After 20 yrs I've found a new Home for pedi's!!! Yay, Me!!

I've been here twice. Ones for a $25 (standard) pedicure which was pretty good. Joe was my friend and my (there are only two chairs) tech and she does pretty good. She speaks relatively good English but has the male nail tech Vo translate anything she or you doesn't understand for her. He, the other hand, is kind of a boisterous jerk and says things like "Joe! Charge her extra for this or that," just because it took Joe a little longer to do something. The second time I went in I was trying for a manicure. I have been looking for a good nail tech around town whom I can go to time and time again who is good with not only nails, but nail ART as well. Joe said she had done the art on the walls herself and had been doing nails for 14 years. However, after doing my nails, this did not look like the case. She had "fixed" two of my borked nails. When I asked them to be pointed, she made them rounded off instead. The edges were fat and the fixed nails ended up breaking a week later. The design I chose to get was beautiful. However, when Joe when to recreate it, it looked nothing like the design I picked. Now I realize this is not a full review of the saloon itself, but of my experience at just the nail portion. I know nothing of the hair dressers or the rest of the salon other than they look like they sell cool hair accessories. Good luck ladies.

I have been wanting to have a Brazilian wax done but I was always afraid. I finally got the nerve and called Mane FX and made an appointment with Tawny for sugaring. She is very professional and does a great job. It's not near as painful as I had myself worked up for. Now I have been going every month for almost a year! You won't regret it and Tawny is awesome!

Chila Young is the most amazing stylist and color expert you can find! I literally will wait for a cross-country trip to the Tri-Cities for Chila to color and cut my hair! I've tried many salons and at the end of day, it's Chila that I entrust with these lovely locks!! She will always give you her dedicated attention, understands your particular hair type, and engages you in fun conversation and laughter! You'll walk out of the salon feeling great! Don't miss out! SLAMMIN PLACE FOR A PEDI!! I've found my fav TC place to get a pedi!!!! The massage chairs were really excellent and Chau (i think the pedi gals name was) gives an amazing foot massage. The pedi was only $20 which is a ridiculously good price! I'm all about Mane FX for my pedi's!!
