To start off, I just want to say that this was my first time getting the Facebook special for the balayage and cut. The area is not really so safe (super sketchy). Came because I wanted to get a balayage special and saw the price was around $130 something and with the holidays coming up I wanted a change in my hair. When I got there, a man by the name of Jonathan was going to do the balayage. Since my hair was previously dark, we couldn't lift the color to a blonde that I wanted but we could've lifted it to a lighter brown. That's okay. However, there was a lot of patchy and uneven spots. The color looked red / orange, it was terrible. I'm not the type of person to speak up when it comes to my hair. Amanda was next to cut my hair and did notice the patchiness and tried to fix it by applying color over the root, but it didn't do anything. Don't get me wrong, Amanda did a great job in cutting my hair, and Jonathan was really nice, but the color / balayage was not good. To my black / dark brown haired peeps, I strongly reccomend going somewhere else and spending the extra money. The fact that Jonathan thought it was okay to send me out like this, was not okay. I really wish I didn't tip / spent the money here.. I ended up going somewhere else the next day (last minute) to get it fixed.
Not great. Studio location is sketchy with lots of homeless hanging out. Owner seemed a little snooty and arrogant. Had a baylage done and now I have broken hair sticking straight up at my bang area. I had no color on this top area so no way it should have broken off. Now I'm scared to see how the rest of my hair holds up.
