I've been Maida and Avak's client for almost 10 years. Very friendly , very nice and caring. They always do a great job on my hair. The staff are always nice and welcoming.

I had my hair cut by Maida and I must say I am very unhappy and frustrated. I have curly hair and I wanted my hair cut dry. She did do that but she did not listen to what I wanted. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. Granted I knew it wouldn't come out the same (different curl pattern and texture) I showed it to her to bc I like the shape of the hair. I did not want a choppy or bold cut look. That does not look very nice on curly girl hair. when she cut it I could already tell it did not have the shape I wanted. I voiced my opinion and she said my hair would look different once I styled it. Before I knew it she had someone else in the chair ready to cut their hair. she saw me standing there and she asked what the problem was. I told her that my hair did not have a shape to it and she continued on how she would have to cut it shorter (fine by me) and it would look different once I have product in it. I get home and style my hair and NOT to my surprise it looked no different styled. She cut my hair the way she wanted, I did not feel listed to, I felt rushed out of there. Very unprofessional. I will never go back again.

I have been going to Maida for awhile now. I LOVE her and wont let anyone else do my hair. I have gone to her with nothing on my hair and she makes it look AMAZING!! I also just went to her today with a really really BAD box dye on my hair.. I walked out looking better then I thought possible. Maida and her staff are wonderful, they care about the customers and ask me about my family and children when I come back in. It is rare to find someone that is as talented as Maida and caring too. I would recommend anyone going here. They get you in FAST and they do such wonderful work! I get more complements from Maida doing my hair then from anyone else. I get stopped and asked who does my hiar. I know there have been some bad reviews of this shop, and I am honestly shocked!! Every one has bad days and maybe sometimes as customers we don't show the patience we need to. I dont have nor do I believe I will ever have a bad thing to say about the women down there!!!

Horrible business ... If you REALLY need your hair done at a certain appointment-- Forget About It! Always always .....Late. If you make an appointment, it's within their schedule-- not yours. I'm finding another place-- I believe the customer comes first. This is an opposite concern for them. Very Unhappy Customer that will not return.
