I've been going to Mai for 20 years, and have never been disappointed. My only beef is that she finally raised her prices (long overdue)! She mostly takes walk-ins, but I usually call to set up an appointment, otherwise there may be a wait.
she messed up my hair completely. i went to get my hair colored red and it came out black!! never again. the shittiest service ever!!!
Went in for a lip wax today, came out the exact same way. The wax was way too hot, burned my lip and didn't take off any hair worst $10 spent here.
The haircut was inexpensive but the experience was rushed and the haircut was uneven.
This is a full beauty salon! They have nails, facials, haircuts, manicures, pedicures, it's a one stop shop which makes it pretty easy. I just came back from a camping trip and I was disgusting so I needed face, hair, hands and feet done, basically a new body.
It's a small quite business so I'm glad to support, other salons are too busy and noisy. The other customers seem to have known her for years and quite adore her. Mai does have a thick accent and can come across as aggressive but she is indeed friendly and just here to get the job done.
