Mai Beauty Salon in Portland, OR

I selected this salon based on good reviews from happy clients. I was going to be visiting family in Portland and this salon was close to where I would be staying. Got an appointment within a week of connecting with the shop. Mai was very intuitive about what would work for my hair and I was quite please with the cut. I would recommend this salon.

Just an amazing five years going to Mai.  She is really an artist!
She has tried many styles and colors for me, and I have never been dissatisfied with any of the results.  Mai is also fun to be around and we end up having lots of laughs during my visits!

She did a great job on my hair and the price was amazing! She also noticed that my hair needed to be trimmed and trimmed it for me. You can really tell that she genuinely cares about having her clients hair look good.  A true profesional, I am grateful that she took the time to make my hair look so great! I love how my hair turned out and the color was exactly what I wanted. Thank you again!

I came here to get my hair dyed for the first time and I couldn't be more glad that I did! Mai did an absolutely wonderful job and I'm so pleased with the way my hair came out!

Mai has been doing not only my hair, but my daughters for several years now. Every time she takes care to do exactly what we want both by showing her pictures and detailing the colors we want in our hair etc. Her haircut technique and expertise in coloring really has impressed me. She cuts and colors hair with confidence which is important to me. Her mother helps her out in the shop and does a Phenomenal  job of shampooing that always includes scalp massage and shoulder massage. Mai is a wonderful example of someone going after their dreams by being very good at what she does and for being an entrepreneur who has become successful because she works hard and really takes pride and care in her clients..or anyone who comes into her shop. It's wonderful to see Mai work with her fellow employees and mother ..it's a family and you can tell the respect she has for her staff. Her prices are fair especially in this ever increasing high cost of living ...and I think we can all appreciate that. For all the reasons stated above I will be loyal to Mai and refer all my family and friends to her. She has proven time and time again that she is consistent and a pro at what she does!
