A regular manicure typically involves nail shaping, cuticle care, and the application of nail polish, which can last up to a week. A gel manicure involves similar steps but uses a gel-based polish and UV light to cure the polish, resulting in a more durable finish that can last up to two weeks without chipping.

On 7/13/23, I went to get a pedicure. I opted for the deluxe pedicure and that was by far the quickest pedicure I have ever received! I didn't have time to soak my feet because as soon as my feet hit the bowl she was already working on them. The lady in the chair next to me sat down way before me and my pedicure was finished before hers. How does that work? I'll never go back!
Honestly no complaints here. The service was great and the price Honestly wasn't bad. I came in for a pedicure and was seen within in 10 mins. They offer several packages starting at $28 which is the basic and then $35 which includes a massage, sugars scrub and wax and then a $45 one which is like the deluxe package. I just did the $35 one because I'm simple. But it was a great experience. Everyone was super friendly and they try and see you as soon as they can. They offer walk ins and appointments. Would definitely go back and get some nails done.
I went to go get my Halloween acrylic set and I always get xxl acrylic sets here. Allways so nice and does an awesome job. But this time is sooo diffrent. The guy who was doing my nails said he had 30 years of experience of cosmetology nails. So I'd think they would look beautiful. He did one hand and moved onto the next hand then I lift up my hand to see what they look like I could see through my nail. I asked to make them thicker and he said it will be to bulky and then another nail tech came around and sat down and started doing the other hand and she did an great job . I got up after and went to the front to pay and I gave both of the Neil techs doing my nails a tip then he was like "ohhh thank you" then said the price is 85 now instead of 90....?wtffff then I went back 3 days later because they broke and cracked so they fixed it and charged me 15$ to fix my nail. Never again. The total price of these nails I spent in the past 5 days made me go broke Bc they don't know what they are doing. Lmao 105$ not including the tip I left them to be respectful because I know I'm a lot to handle. my sets allways last me at least 3-4 weeks never one week shoot. Never 4 days lol. Never go here waste of money and they will take advantage of you. R.I.P my nails :((
I called to schedule a nail appointment and was denied an appointment by Paul. Paul is the manager at Magic Nail and Spa located in Brighton, CO. I was first told that no appointments were available at all. I called back and then he said he couldn't schedule an appointment "for me" until a week out because he was "short staff of workers to apply powder". I was even told to "just go somewhere else". I called the same nail salon a couple hours later with a different number and gave a different name. Paul answered the phone and immediately said that appointments WERE available right away. He thought I was a different person as to why appointments were all of sudden available. I frequent this salon and I am always the only African American in the salon every time I go; I know Paul knows who I am, my name and my number because I go every 2 weeks to get my nails done. Paul was discriminating against me, lying about having "no appointments for me" and denying me service for no reason.
So I have gone to this shop for a few years. I loved the way Mary did my nails however she became complacent and started rushing through leaving my nails looking like crap. The pedicures were nothing special but hey they're close to my house. I started watching how they handled their implements and noticed that there is no sterilization what so ever. I literally sat and watch them use the callus grater on multiple peoples feet after just rinsing with water. I've also witnessed them using dirty tools on clients. I guess I didn't really think about it too much as I usually just get nails done. In the last year I have found the majority of nail techs in this shop to be extremely rude not just with me but other clients. They talk incessantly in their language which is like nails on a chalk board. I leave this review as a "buyer beware". There are way better shops in the area, I would encourage you to shop around before going here.
There's no denying that balayage is having a moment. This modern hair coloring technique has taken the beauty world by storm, and it's easy to see why. Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep" or "to paint", and that's exactly what the colorist does.
