Love my color and the staff was amazing to work with they definitely know their colors . I go every 6 weeks to get my hair touched up .

I love this place for so many reasons. I was looking for a more natural approach to coloring my hair and Madison Reed is it! It is also quite affordable compared to other salons. Tara and Sophia are professional and fun. They also give honest advice and feedback when I want to try something different.

The service at this color bar from Tara and Sophia is excellent and makes a difference from other locations. They always greet everyone with professionalism and kindness. They possess greater skills and experience than other Madison Reed locations. I highly recommend the Deer Park location due to Tara's and Sophia's professionalism and expertise. They always provide spot-on advice.

So I did a thing and tried out Madison Reed hair color salon. I'm so disappointed..... I'd give less stars but Tara who did my hair really tried her best to fix the issues I had so I have to give her credit for trying. It was not cheap to come here but it was a little less then the place I was going to previously...... ugh now I know you get what you pay for. If you look at the photos. The one is right after color 1st attempt and there was a very visible line where my roots were lightened. Then the 2nd pic is after the " fix" honestly it might be worse after the fix. I think I will end up going to a color correction spa to fix the root line and the banding caused by the fix. I feel bad because Tara was so nice and did her best but this is just not what I expected for $230+ ( this includes blow dry and tip ) I always tip even thou I was not happy because she offered to fix so I felt confident it would get resolved. Unfortunately I'm stuck now with this hair or off to pay more to get it fixed.

It was handy, but odd. No mirrors! I went in and wondered if anyone would notice I was there, even at a quiet time of day. Color consultation was minimal. Asked me a bunch of questions aimed at someone who colors their own hair, which weren't relevant to me. (Presumably required script because the business is originally custom home hair color.) No physical swatches, just images on a cell phone. They were very conscientious about taking a photo of my hair before and after. Colorist didn't put much effort into conversation (not everyone can be 'on' all the time, of course, but it felt lonely, not friendly). Staff who shampooed me removed the comfort rest from the sink (why??) and repeatedly asked if she was hurting me. The color turned out okay, but the price felt high for such minimal service. I suppose it's cool that you check out with an iPad interface. :-/
