This was my first time coming in after going to another local salon for years. I have problem nails, and gel manicures never seemed to last more than a few days, leading to my needing re-dos and repairs. Because my nails are already weak, I ended up with very thin and damaged nails. Lynn took one look at my poor nails and immediately knew how to fix them. She gave me a beautiful IBD gel manicure and my nails have never felt stronger. Lynn is the sole proprietor of this salon, so she is not able to answer the phone at all times, and she sometimes has to answer during a manicure or pedicure. I saw that a previous reviewer had given a one star review because of this, but it is understandable, due to the fact that she is the only person there. You may call and get no answer (her phone isn't set up to take voicemails,), but she will call you back. It is true that Lynn only does gel and acrylic manicures, so if you are looking for traditional nail polish, you will have to go somewhere else. She is also a bit more expensive than my previous salon, but it seems to be well worth the price point. She also does not accept credit cards, but has an ATM in her shop. There is also a few banks within a couple of blocks.
Made an appointment for a pedicure. Showed up and was told they don't have regular nail polish only gel. Would have been nice to know that PRIOR to going to the appointment. Why is regular pedicure prices STILL on the website and price list if you don't have that service anymore??? I guess that would make TOO MUCH sense. Smh
I've never been here till this past year, I just move to Canandaigua a year ago and was never able to find a good place to go without them rushing and doing a horrible job. She did amazing job my first visit last year her work is amazing and she takes her time I continue to go to her every time I go get my nails done. Fair pricing on everything. I went there today 5/17/22 to get fresh set done for my wedding Saturday 5/21. I'm now wedding ready :)
Rude! I called for an appointment. They didn't have the time today I was looking for and she offered tomorrow. When I said thanks I couldn't come tomorrow the lady hung up on me. Apparently they don't need customers.
I've gone to Lynn for years and have never found a better technician! She's friendly, courteous and KNOWS NAILS! I would highly recommend Lynn and her salon.
