This was my first time visiting a SmartStyle, and Valerie (who is the manager there) took AMAZING care of me and gave me one of the best haircuts i've ever received! I took my daughter to Smart Style in the Walmart Canandaigua store. She wanted to have her hair colored and cut professionally she looked online to make sure she had enough money to pay for it herself. We get to the store in the pricing is different they don't even have anything for what they consider specialty colors no packages with haircut and wash which my daughter assumed was one price. After sitting there for four hours my daughter look like the Jolly Green Giant. her haircut was not even close to what she wanted and there was no way to fix it. I will never ever take any of my family there again. She has washed her hair a couple of times in the color looks a little bit better we believe that the stylist did not get all all of the extra die out.
Made an appointment at smartstyle in Canandaigua. Went in and knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted my coppery ends gone and highlights put in. I showed the lady the picture and she said ok and didn't say anything else. She finished up my hair and I had noticed that the top of my head looked completely different than the top and I still had the awful coppery bracy ends. Went home and looked in the mirror and the one color highlighter had blead and she missed quite an important spot. Called after and said I was unhappy and the manager said oh yes we can fix that. Walked in today and got the same girl I had yesterday and she refused to fix it saying that because my haircolor is two toned makes it so the highlights do not show. She wouldn't give me my money back and she refused to fix it. I will never go there again. I was an inconvenience for her that morning.
