Have gone to Luxe Nails twice now and have been very impressed. I get dip nails and pedicure. Tina is wonderful! She takes her time and does a great job! I showed her nail designs I liked and she did both without any complaints or hesitation. The first time you go they require you to buy your own nail kit that has your own files, buffers, pedicure stone, etc. that is $7. You bring it back with you each time or leave it at the salon with your name on it.
this business takes appointments BUT DOES NOT HONOR them:( now waiting over 25 minutes for my scheduled appointments and I got here early before my appointment time!!! this is the third time this has happened! ridiculous! don't take appointments if you CANNOT honor them, 10 minutes is sometimes expected but this is truly ridiculous!
Came is slightly worried about the language barrier because I'd recently had hand surgery but really wanted my nails done. Kim B took wonderful care of me, was very careful and checked on me often to make sure I wasn't in too much pain. I'm more reserved so I was happy with a manicure in quiet but others clearly had great relationships with their techs and gossiped away, so the place suits all personalities. Be ready to have your own purchased bag with nail files etc, and don't be fussy about it. Definitely will return when it's time to have them done again.
Two stars because they took me right away without an appointment but I am very disappointed with my nails. I asked for dip without a tip on them because I work with animals and it's not the easiest job to do with nails. She filed my nails down to a nub and even made two of my nails bleed. I was in shock when I found out a full dip set without a tip was $43 and was going to be $52 if I didn't bring my own filing kit. I will not be returning.
