Owners Nina and Lee are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. I came here for my first manicure and I've never gone anywhere else. Always very nice environment, good place to socialize with locals if you go there a lot. I had Lee do my nails for homecoming, prom, vacation, and every set after that. Definitely recommend.
The man that did my nails this past time has always been rude but this time he was visibly irritated as I made a request, shaking his head, huffing and walking away. Didn't speak the whole time. Literally the entire time. But at time to pay, he certainly asked for a tip. I have been in here time after time and have never had a great experience, but this was the last attempt. I'll do them myself, save the money and the rude attitude. Did not like my nails either. One was SO crooked. They were all very thick and square and not natural. Never again. LUXE nails is a little further down the road. They are better, maybe more expensive but at least the nails look nice.
I have been getting my nails done religiously for 15 years.. I have tried so many different nail salons and I have found they are the best in the Roanoke area. I have only had positive experiences. I drive quite a distance to come here. You should give them a fair shake and ignore the reviews from years ago!
A pretty good place to get your nails done! I have never asked for really complicated designs, but always get a full set and will continue to go here. Other places have messed my nails up or caused more damage than necessary. The other (negative) reviews on this business seem quite over reactive to me, as I have never had an issue nor experienced them being rude or disrespectful. Everybody has bad days and perhaps that was just a bad day I suppose. Regardless, in reviews, it is generally those who had a negative experience and seek to outlet their anger and post, which I believe is the case for this business. My experience was positive and Lee is a great nail tech!
I definitely do not recommend. This place is the size of a shoe box which is fine but the atmosphere is an F the employees are constantly yelling and never fully acknowledge that you are there. They just give you commands and don't let you pick out a color. I sat down for a pedicure and decided to leave because of how uncomfortable they made me feel. If you wanna feel like a burden go here!
