Love My Skin Day Spa in Jessup, MD

I have had a couple of facials at Love My Skin Day Spa with Shannon. I was very pleased with the facials and her professionalism and knowledge. I just booked a peel and can't wait to go back.

I enjoyed the entire experience. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was greeted at the door by Shannon. From there, she immediately took me to the room, where the back facial took place. At that time, she set the tone for the service. The room had a nice spa-like feel, which was complete with relaxing music and ambient lighting. Since I have never had a back facial, I really had nothing to compare it to; however, the back facial was amazing. My back feels great and that stubborn pimple is gone. Yay! In my opinion, it was like a facial and massage all in one. Prior to booking, I read so many glowing reviews about Shannon and the back facial that I already knew ahead of time that I would book for another back facial, if not other services. Let's just say that I am thoroughly pleased with my experience and based on that alone, I would recommend not only the back facial, but Shannon as well. At the conclusion of my back facial, I decided to book another service. Prior to leaving, Shannon provided a tour of the spa, as well as introductions to other staff.

I do not recommend this spa or this practitioner for a facial service. Shannon's attitude is not customer-friendly. A spa experience should be relaxing and peaceful and from the instant I walked in the door this was anything but. Definitely don't purchase a Groupon/Living Social voucher for this merchant, she will be certain to tell you they only pay her $14 for a $100 facial.

What a great experience. This was my first ever facial and I only have good things to say about it. First, Shannon is the nicest and of course very knowledgeable on skincare. I expected my visit to just be all about my face but she takes care of more than that! I got a head, neck and shoulder massage as well as the facial! Worth every penny. I will definitely be going back. Can't wait for my husband to get his facial in a couple of weeks!!

I absolutely love Shannon! After getting a facial from groupon, we talked about chemical peels and I decided to come back to start a round of them. They have really helped my overall skin texture and appearance. What I appreciate about Shannon is that she genuinely cares about my own skin concerns and uses that to taylor my skincare. She is also able to recommend her products in a way that is respectful, and not pushy. Shannon is a very wonderful woman and I enjoy being able to support her.
