Great colorists and stylists. I'm super happy every time I leave the salone. Pricey but soooo worth it!

They might be on the higher range , but their products and table side manner speaks about the vibe they create. I loved both the services they had done and I don't regret it. They know what to suggest and what suits an individual. Services requested and provided were well matched on my needs. Looking forward to look great.

I normally go to Manhattan or Brookkyn for my silk press, simply because I am a loyal customer to those salons. But the trip to get to Midtown or Brooklyn is grueling. I found Love Lane when searching for a closer alternative. Downtown is 3 miles away and the walk is very pleasant; it is a treat by itself. Add to that, the pleasant environment of the salon and the cute area it is situated. Plus, they did a very good job in taming my unruly curls into a sleek undamaged mane. They offer you drinks. (Not booze), but nice iced sparkling flavored water. It grounds you into a zen sate of mind. The perm straightening does not smell of chemicals. You don't get burning eyes during the process. The perm looks better and better as the days go on. Not sure what brand they are using. I remember when the keratin perm first began, the stink of the ammonia and the fumes would burn nostrils and eyes. Love lane has become my regular spot. I must be a very boring customer for them, because I only go there for the silk press and regular trims to the ends. Nonetheless the treat me well.

Simply the best! I've been a Love Lane gal since I moved to JC a couple of years ago. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere makes me feel most at home. My only initial gripe was my stylist and colorist were at two different locations and I'd need to book and carve out time for two appointments every time I wanted my hair done - the silver lining being that I'd have two Love Lane blowouts that month! My stylist recently left and I reached out for assistance to find someone new and to perhaps schedule back to back appointments so I can get a cut and color done in one sitting - they totally helped me out with recommendations and how to book the appointment, super easy! I love all their content and tutorials and seasonal tips on truly all things hair and beyond - they also have sporadic sales on their killer products and a very generous Black Friday promo! Absolute love for the entire team at Love Lane!

I booked an appointment, but my child woke up sick the morning of the appointment and I could not get childcare coverage in time. I called more than 6 hours prior to the appointment and they said they had to follow policy, that I would be charged the full amount. Okay - I get it, they "have a business to run" - they get my $180 today, but definitely lost out on my future business. Just wanted to post this for any other parents - beware of the late cancellation policy and be sure to only book when you are not the only back up care! (As if making time for a haircut isn't hard enough!)
