Lizbeth Dominican Hair Salon in Hiram, GA

This place has terrible, TRASH service. I brought my sister here and she was physically standing outside the building at 8:45 a.m. before they opened at 9:00 a.m. Then 5 people cut my sister minutes after saying they were here first in their cars. When I brought this to the owner's attention, she still let those people go first resulting in a longer wait. I've NEVER been to an establishment where you're physically waiting outside at the location and random people get to cut you because they claim they were there first in their cars. Never returning here and would NOT recommend. Owner not helpful, had an attitude and does not care what is fair. Only reason I didn't take my sister elsewhere is because I had somewhere to be. If possible, go elsewhere. Yeimy's down the street has friendly staff and does a great job :) They just open later. Hair results are fine. But customer service is everything to me and I can't recommend a place that doesn't treat their patrons fairly.

RUN!!!! If I could give this salon a zero I would. I have been natural for 13 years and had very thick, beautiful, healthy 4c hair. I used to go to another Dominican shop to get blown out but he moved out of state and so I decided to try this shop. The worst mistake of my life!! I went for a wash and set and deep conditioning and while she was washing my hair I noticed a smell of sulfur. I didn't think much of it because I assumed maybe the girl next to me was getting a relaxer. Fast forward to the blowout, I noticed a lot of smoke coming from my hair but again I trusted the beautician. I went home and wore the style a few days but I noticed my hair shedding an awful lot so I decided to wash it. As soon as I wet my hair I just started to cry my eyes out. My hair was just falling out by huge patches and the stench of burned hair and sulfur was so overwhelming that I wanted to throw up. I don't know if they snuck relaxer in my hair or if they are just that bad at doing hair but needless to say I am traumatized. I've lost 50% of my hair and I'll eventually have to do a big chop after 13 years of growing my hair. Smh DONT LET THESE PEOPLE DO YOUR HAIR IF YOU LOVE YOUR HAIR!! Run!!

I've gotten my hair washed, trimmed and straightened here 3 or so times. The lady in the first chair who unfortunately does not speak English upset me because she was trying to straighten my edges. Noooooo....... I had to tell her to stop. Then I wanted my hair cut in a style and the lady tried to talk me out of it. (Hello! I'm the customer and it's my hair.) so all she did was trim it. * * The best thing this place does for my hair is the wash and deep conditioning. When I leave my hair is usually silky and straight but I believe she has the curling iron up too high because to me my hair smells kinda burnt. ** * Also when I go in when there are multiple people I haven't seen the shampoo bowl lady actually sanitize any of the combs used. *

I had so much hair pulled out when it was wet that I will never go back. The shampoo woman pulled a comb full of hair using a small tooth comb or comb out out the tangles (she held my hair so I wouldn't feel her pull out the tangles) with more hair pulled out by the stylist who also used a small tooth comb. The entire front edge of my hair is no longer than 5 inches (went past my chin when I walked in the door). The same comb was used on 5 people before I was out of view to continue to count. Very disappointed. I was looking for a stylist in my area that would maintain my healthy hair. NOW I need to repair and regrow the damage done.
