A great find on a recent baseball trip to Beatrice, NE! Lex Nails was a little shop inside the local mall that has everything you need to feel pampered and spoiled for about an hour! I recommend the deluxe pedicure for sure :)
I've been going to this salon since it was Pink Nails, went through the transition to Lex Nails and have been pleased with the service all along. Teddy, the owner (or possibly co-owner) knows me by name and greets me by name when I walk in. I wasn't able to get in for a pedicure at a time that was convenient for me one time, so I went to a different salon here in town. I won't make that mistake again! They do take walk-in's, but they can be very busy at times, especially on Saturdays, so it is best to make an appointment. Definitely recommend!!
This business is in the spot where Pink Nails was. It is located inside Indian Creek Mall. For some reason, the GPS took me way off course when I chose "get directions" from the YELP app- I am mentioning it in case you find you're being directed to go to 4th & Court St. There was a language barrier & apparent confusion when I called to ask for directions too.
Okay, as far as the pedicure.... it went well. I was glad to see 5 other customers here when I arrived. I figure the local residents wouldn't be there if it weren't a good place. I chose the deluxe pedicure ($30.00) after asking if it came with the hot stone massage- she said it did. She also did a good job with an exfoliating lotion on my calves and feet.
Because it took me 30 minutes to get there rather than 10, I didn't ask for a design which I usually would. The lady next to me asked for extra work on her callouses and her guy did a good job for her. Both employees seemed to be very contentious about doing good massages.
Don't know if I'll ever be back in Beatrice again but if I am, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
