Leslie's Nails & Spa in Corpus Christi, TX

Decided to try out Leslie Nails. Before going I checked reviews and saw David had really good reviews for doing nails so i requested him. I also got a pedicure and lashes by different technicians. However I am not satisfied with my nails. November 2nd is the date I went in and on November 9th I already have 2 nails that have come off. I spent 80 dollars for this to happen. I don't recommend David.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. They are the best accommodating people and love how they always do so great every single time! I've been going to Vivian for years for my pedicure & she's always been so talented. The vibe is always calm and relaxing.

It's been an age since I treated myself to a mani/pedi so I was really picky about where to go. Did some research and the review for Leslie's were promising. When I arrived, I was less than impressed. The strip mall wasn't anything exciting and when I walked into the salon, it was disappointing. A bit sub-par for the reviews but it was clean and they were very nice when I walked in. And that was a plus to me because I get tired of walking into a place and being barked at, "What you want?", "Pick a color!"...you know what I mean. So I wait for a few minutes while and about 5 minutes later, was seated in a pedi chair. I was undecided on colors and the guy that was helping me told me to give him the numbers and he'd grab them. I gave him 3 different ones and he picks them out and brings to me. And promptly tells me one of them is too "orange". And he was right, it just wasn't right! Finally decided on a color, showed him the design I wanted and sat back. He was so attentive. Always making sure he wasn't hurting me, that I liked the shape of the nails (yes, even my toenails), made sure I was okay with the instruments he was using, etc. No upselling, which was a plus, and just overall very pleasant. And he was SPOT ON with recreating the design I'd picked, which was rare! I haven't had such a pleasant, relaxing nail experience since Citrus Nails in League City!! This is my new, favorite place! BTW...try to remember to take cash if you can. Or at least enough to tip with. That way, they get all of the money and don't lose it to fees.

Weird beginning - I asked for a dip powder nail technique & regular pedicure and between all of the nail techs, it took them 5 minutes to figure out if it was going to work out even though it was dead - no clients?!? I'm new to CC so I didn't know if this was normal to figure out if both services could be done simultaneously. Nail techs were nice but I felt out of place. Never offered me something to drink. I never felt comfortable and when I asked about the lashes it was like I asked for a dinner to go. Then I asked if they were on Yelp & I thought I had accidentally asked for their social security numbers. It was such an uncomfortable experience. Not sure if I'll return.
