Lemongrass Salon in Fort Worth, TX

I drove over 30 mins to get to my appointment and was told that my hair is too long and thick to do today, because my appointment time slot wouldn't be long enough. My stylist said I could make an appointment to come back a different day. She also gave me a quote to get highlights in my hair: $411.50. It's for the best that they weren't able to fit me in, because after that I drove to another salon in Montgomery Plaza and paid $115 to get the best highlights of my life. I've never really had a good experience here anyway. Looks like I won't be coming back ever!

I've begun visiting here about 9 months ago and love the top notch service. Annika is a professional thru and thru and always makes you feel fabulous. I love the Aveda way of doing things. The only thing lacking is fresh coffee for the early appointments.

JC their colorist is pure magic. He's wonderful and can fix even the worst home color. Kayla is a fabulous stylist but best of all they worked as a team. Can't recommend enough.

She examined my skin and knew exactly what would be the best type of products to use for me. She's incredibly professional, knowledgeable about the products, and incredibly sweet to top it all off. I have been to this salon over the years about six times. They can't keep good beauticians or at least the ones that I like. I went several years ago and I kept having the petitions quit or move to another location. Most recently I went to try them again in December and I had a wonderful experience and cut. I recently called and then stopped in and spoke with Sophia who is a scheduler or someone who is on the desk and ask for the person that had given me the cut and she said that she was no longer there even though the person had just started in November. I was extremely disappointed because it's hard to find someone that does a really good short cut to your specifications and this woman was great. So obviously they have something going on there either they don't treat them right or they don't pay them enough or something because they can't seem to keep these people that do an excellent job. When I asked where the woman was they said that she had gone to work at a barbershop! I'd rather get a great cut at a barbershop then spend a bunch of money at a salon but can't seem to keep a good beautician. It also says a lot about how they value their employees and I don't want to go to a place that doesn't value their employees especially in the age of Covid. I gave them two stars for the cut I got in December and I would give them a lot less now. I seem to be more about pushing product and getting people to work there that they obviously don't want to keep.
