Soo I decided to check this spot out after passing it a few times so I booked my appointment with the manager Armareli (because I thought she had the most experience) I spoke with her for a good 5 minutes explaining and showing her photos of what I wanted and asking if she knew how to cut curly hair she assured me she did. unfortunately I was disappointed from the beginning I felt like she kept trying to upsell me products and services and when I declined her offers another individual came over to try and upsell me and schedule me I felt like I was at a timeshare demonstration it was uncomfortable but I thought let's see how the cut and style go and after I explained what I wanted it literally looked like she cut nothing then the style (blowout) was not even close to what it was suppose to be I know because I've done it several times with other stylist at other salons and I know you're probably thinking why not have gone to those salons well in short they are tooooo far. anyway, it was frizzy and puffy when I mentioned it to her the "helper assistant " proceeded to say my hair was frizzy because I didn't choose the "special" wash however she had already put in a few products that supposedly where to avoid frizz so nice try then I told her again this is not how a blowout is suppose to look I didn't like it and her response was well let me flat iron it which defeats the purpose because I wanted a blowout which is completely different then flat ironing it . now it was exactly that flat no volume and when I told her I was not pleased she smiled and said okay smh I was so upset that I just left because I had to be somewhere and I also didn't want to go off. I then called back to have my cut redone but I told them I was going out of state so I had to do it when I came back which I did. I asked for another stylist because why would I have the same person that screwed it up do it again right. Well the second person Lexi was worse I told her my bangs were uneven and that I wear them swooped so they needed to be a tad bit shorter I showed her a photo of how I wear them and well she not only chopped my bangs way tooo short they still Were not even in short my entire experience was horrible I will NEVER go to them again. Gave one star because the salon is nice and well Yelp wouldn't allow a review without at least one star.

My appointment today was scheduled at 7pm. I arrived at 7pm and got checked in. Waited for 45 minutes until I was only to be told that there was a scheduling conflict and they just realized it right now. They offered to reschedule my appointment. However, I was so upset that I decided to leave without rescheduling. Bad service. I will not be returning to this salon.

Went for a hair cut last week. I have to say that I am not happy with it. I asked for it to be cut short and thinned out as I have very thick hair. She thinned it out first before cutting and after she was done with hair cut she never thinned out the ends. The haircut is very uneven and choppy. I have tried straightening and curling nothing helps. It looks like a Dutch boy haircut and i have to wear stubby ponytail until I have time to get it thinned out again.

So I went in for the first time to the salon last Friday for a full leg wax that I had booked my name is Gerda A. by the way . Let's start that I am an esthetician in training myself - graduating in few weeks so I know about sanitations , protocols, and ins and outs of the industry etc. So let's just start with that there wasnt a consent/history form that I needed to sign.and there were no questions asked either by the employee prior to my service about my health, medications all that good stuff that could've been a contraindication for waxing service. So the cosmetologist name Lexi was the girl who was scheduled to do my waxing. She had her hair all hanging on her face almost as if at any moment it was going to get stuck in the wax. Her wax cart was behind my head as she was doing my legs and I felt like at any moment that wax was going to drip on my head as she's reaching for it back and forth it. I advised that maybe she should put the cart by my legs and have better access but she didn't . So then I noticed she was DOUBLE DIPPING her waxing sticks after she was waxing my legs. That IS A NO NO FOR ANYONE THATS IN THIS FIELD AND KNOWS ABOUT SANITATION. It's like me going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and they use the same tools for every client. I mean who knows what germs & skin infections were already in that wax and she was applying on me.. I had hoped I was just seeing it wrong . I also want to mention that she wasn't experienced in waxing because she wasn't speed waxing my legs as you should as that would save me and her time . It took her almost an hour to do my front legs and I had a lot of spots and payches still through out my legs. Mind you a lot of drops of wax still on my legs as she had asked me to turn over already l . I started showing her all the hair that was still there that she missed??? And she asked me what I wanted her to do ? Use honey wax again or hard wax? Or plug it ???? I said if you plug these hairs I will be here all night and you don't wax twice with honey wax. So by that point I was fed up and asked her if she was also double dipping her sticks ???!!! She was taken by suprise and said "I'm only double dipping with the same client" I said what?! You don't double dip your putting my germs back in the wax and then spreading it through clients and Vice versa. She said she didn't really learn waxing in school and was only following what her associates do ... I said that is #1 you learn in all school is never to double dip. So now either she really was clueless or was following what the salon does? I then said she shouldn't have been scheduled to do my waxing if she didn't know how to wax, she didn't hold my skin taught , she was pulling patch by patch instead of using the full strip and that is why I still had hair all over because it just wasn't being properly applied and taken off. And then even few times she got the wax paper stuck with wax on my skin and freaked out.. I asked for a manager which there wasn't one on staff nor owner . And no one else who could finish my waxing . I told her to clean the wax off and I requested to be refunded for my deposit . So long story short please make sure when you get waxed you know who your going to and make sure they follow proper sanitation. I am still waiting to hear back from manager/owner .
