UPDATE: I've reached out to my bank to confirm the amount I paid in October 2021 (which your reception mentioned over the phone was $185 when I asked for confirmation, and was the quote for last week's service). However, yes to the owner's suggestion - I will either find a less expensive salon in upper Manhattan or travel downtown to Bumble & Bumble in Soho or similar if I am inclined to pay those prices. The coloring job was decent, but not worth what is being charged, in my opinion. Also, there are indeed miscommunications about pricing.

I was there going on three weeks ago for a cut and to have my hair dyed and it was a waste of my money. When I left the salon I got home and my husband was looking at my hair and saw a few long strands of gray hair that were not even covered by the hair dye. Two weeks later I noticed that a lot of my grays were showing and it was just not the root it was over half an inch. The dye had faded and when I called the salon to ask if there was anything they could do they told me "No because you should have came back within a week since that is our policy and it would be $80.00 just to cover the roots". First of all where in the salon does it state that a customer can return within a week and why are they going to charge me $80 to cover the roots when I paid $70 to dye my entire hair?? Such a shame since the people that work there are very nice, but I paid a lot of money for a professional hair dye job that faded within two weeks. Next time I will save money and buy box dye since it will last longer.

I've been going to Le Chic for many years and I've always had a pleasant experience. The entire staff are friendly and experienced hairdressers. My favorite stylist is Ana. She's warm, gracious and always does a great job. My favorite is also Iris. I love to watch her treat the elderly with such care and love while washing their hair. Thank you for hiring such a wonderful staff.

Love This Place. Friendly Staff, CLEAN, And The Music Was Pumping. Definitely Felt Comfortable and My Daughter ALSO Loved The Place. The Cosmetologist/Hairstylist, Yvette, was AMAZING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND FRIENDLY. Wish I Had Hair So I Can Come Here And Get My Hair Done Here LOL. Thank Yu Ladies, Thank You!!
