I've gone to Ty a couple times and had great experiences. I finally found a nail artist that treats each session like a consultation versus a transaction. He can take a generic idea or picture and turn it into a customized design. I always do dip and last time I mentioned I had a small issue with how well they held up (cracking in week 2) so he adjusted how he applied the dip and MAN - I'm 5.5 weeks into my latest set and if it wasn't for grow out, I could easily keep going. Highly recommend.
Hate to say it and hate writing negative reviews but Ty, you need some advice. I've been getting my nails done for years. Same thing every time. DIP/SNS on my real nails and it's always a baby pink. Ty was kind upon arrival and was on time, but his salon is clearly dirty. It doesn't appear as though he washes his tools after each customer nor lines the pedicure bowl from previous pictures on here. My nail color is extremely uneven, my nails are poorly filed and shaped, and he didn't ask me what shape I wanted. One has already chipped. I just am so sad that I paid $60 for this. Especially in this economy. Please just make customers feel like they're important and that you value their patronage.
As a newcomer to Hendersonville I really didn't know where to go for a pedicure so I turned to Yelp. The reviews for Lavish Nail Care were exceptional so I gave them a call. It turned out to be a sole proprietorship run by a gentleman named Ty, who gave me a wonderful pedicure earlier today. It was such a pleasant experience in so many ways.
He asked me what type of music I enjoy and promptly found a station. He offered me something to drink. He made sure I was very comfortable and proceeded to give me an excellent pedicure. I cheerfully and heartily recommend Ty at Lavish Nail!
Wow! Ty was wonderful. Very professional and really knows NAILS. Price was right. I love the private room with TV and music.
This pedicure was the worst one I have ever gotten. The pedicurist was literally on the phone the entire time, the location was extremely dirty, and I got an infection (folliculilitis) of red bumps that showed up 24 hours after the pedicure. DIRTY. would not go again.
