LA Nails Mokena in Mokena, IL

I only come here for convenience. I have never had a good experience here. My toenail polish is always sloppy. The shape of my nails are always different shapes but then told it's my fault. They don't know how to do any designs. The only nice thing to say is that the staff is really nice. But the quality of work is trash. I will not be coming back.

I like LA Nails overall but the Spa Pedicure massage/hot towels is NEVER 10 minutes long as their pedicure menu states. Disappointing as that's the best part and tips would be that much better, I'm sure.

Just no. I tried to give this place an opportunity more than once and it didn't work out. They charge you for a "pedicure" that's really only a polish change with a little bit of water and a little bit of lotion. And less you get one of the higher priced fancy pedicures, you will receive little to no massage and a bad paint job if you live close, drive the extra miles and take the extra time to go somewhere else.

My first visit was very good. Unfortunately, I called too late to have Jessica do my dip nails. Second visit, not sure I'll be back. My appointment was 25 minutes late. The shape of my nails is not uniform (just get them rounded), all the edges are jagged and the dip is not smooth. Overall, pretty disappointed.

I made an appointment with la nails in mokena which was recommended by a friend of mine---when I made the appointment I said I needed someone who is able to do designs --the receptionist was rude stating we all do designs and what day and time would I like to come --silly of me for still making an appointment so I come in for my appointment a woman who works there let's me know she is doing my nails --I show her the picture of the nails I wanted she took my phone to show that receptionist and she comes back and states I have to wait so I said ok--about 15 minutes later that receptionist tells me if I can wait another 15min for the girl who can do my nails. I again said ok ---after waiting for about 10 minutes I ask that receptionist if they are used to doing any type of designs since I saw all the ladies with basic color only.. she told me they do and she spoke with a nail tech who did not seem happy to do my nails --the design was French manicure in a mint green color with a little flower--the receptionist after speaking with the nail tech informs me that it would be $49 for the dip $20 for tips and additional $20 for designs ---OMG CLEARLY THAT WAS RIDICULOUS AND I EXPRESSED IT TO THAT RECEPTIONIST AND PROCEEDED TO WALK OUT!!!! My observation of the place which is a large place but not many techs and they sit practically on top of each other -you are literally sitting on top of each other. I AM SO HAPPY I DID NOT GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT NOT ONE DOLLAR OF MY MONEY. Headed back to what I know ONLY NAILS IN TINLEY PARK NEVER TRYING A NEW PLACE AGAIN!!!!
