L'essence Day Spa & Salon in Reno, NV

I appreciated that they accommodated a last min hair appointment. I was visiting from out of town and needed a root touch up.  They were quick to get me in within the next 15 min after my call and were so welcoming.  Such a cute salon and I was so happy to chat with the owner and find out we grew up in the same town in CA, small world! Love this place and if I got back to visit, I will definitely call them to get my hair done.

L'Essence is a great place for a no frills massage or facial. I come here a few times a year and am never disappointed!

If I could give them 10 stars it wouldn't be enough! We went in just to get my son some pomade, simple enough. The receptionist said, "I'm not very familiar with male products, so let me get a stylist". Daniel walks out and asks if he can do a few adjustments. I said of course! He thinned his hair and instructed him on how to style his hair with the new product! They are amazing! I have found my forever hair stylists!

When we moved here I was desperate to find a good hair stylist. I stumbled upon L'essence by talking to one of the stylists at a pop up event we were doing and I loved the concept that they all help one another out. I reached out and asked for a blonde specialist because as any blonde knows the right hair stylist is crucial if you have a specific blonde you're going after. We moved from SoCal, I had been flying back and forth to get my hair done by my stylist there and that's just not sustainable, I was so scared to find someone new especially since I had been with that stylist for years.
I reached out through instagram and they responded almost immediately which was amazing. Within two days I had an appointment and hope that I could potentially have found my stylist. Next week I meet Jessica, not only is she the owner but she is the sweetest human being but she is ALSO an amazing colorist.
She listened to what I wanted and made sure that the way she went about roots and color would leave me happy. I was amazed but skeptical, but the grow out was beautiful and looked natural and that's all a blondie can ask for!
I've been going to her for about a year now, maybe more, and I am as happy as can be. We even play around with colors once in a while which requires a ton of trust. She does extensions as well and they're flawless. Jessica truly knows how to interpret your vision into reality and I am so grateful I found her.
You will NOT be disappointed when you go to L'essence. All the girls there are so nice and sweet and the environment is light and beautiful/calming. It's also in a cool victorian esq home which makes my historian heart happy.
