L'amitie Nails & Spa in Flemington, NJ

Second time here and I am very disappointed. I had really high hopes that my acrylic nails would come out being the best set I've ever had. However, it was the complete opposite. While although the owner, Vicky who did my nails was an absolute sweetheart, the salon was beautiful and clean, and there was many colors to choose from I did not leave happy. My nails turned out crooked, uneven, and hands dry dry. As someone who hardly gets their nails done I was looking forward to being pampered with lotion, a hot towel, a hand massage or something. Unfortunately, I will not be returning as I thought it was a waste of money especially since I had to go home and spend time filing them to make them better

Made an appointment. iPad in front was not working, so I could not check in. The lady said to sit and wait. Over 30 mins waiting and nothing. I just walked out. Poor service.

I've been coming here since they opened. It is a beautiful salon . Vickie, the owner, is the best. She is so friendly and professional. Hannah is also so sweet. They do a great job and I'm always happy when I leave there. I started coming here because it was a convenient location but I've since changed jobs and I continue to come here regularly because it is by far the nicest salon in the area. I highly recommend!

I am so sad to leave this review because I do love this place due to the cleanliness and ambiance. But my manicure today was horrible. I made an appointment with James last minute for a gel manicure. After a rough day I wanted to treat myself and honestly it just put me in a worse mood. He left my nails jagged and the color uneven. My nails look messy. I'm so disappointed. He didn't ask what shape I wanted just filed away. I had to file my nails when I got home. Always make an appointment and make sure it's not with him.

This was my third time here and it is such a shame because I really liked it here. The place is clean. The other receptionist (not the one there today) is very pleasant and sweet. The space is beautiful. I have had the same person do my nails. The first time it was just a pedicure and it was great. The second time it was a pedicure and a manicure with gel. I don't love the gel because of how my nails respond so the third time, I just needed the gel removed and a regular manicure. My manicurist asked if I was taking a break. At first, I said yes, which is not true, so I added, I prefer a bare buffed nail. After that, he was so rough with my nails. He then proceeded to talk on the phone while doing my nails roughly and almost with anger. I was a little late for my appointment so I was thinking maybe he was upset. I apologized and if it was a big deal he could have asked me to come back. My finger nails hurt. He didn't even say thank you when I gave him his tip. This is unfortunate because I really just want to find a place I can go to regularly to maintain healthy nails.
