L a Nails in Owosso, MI

Place was dirty went there to just get my nails removed. I had on fake nails with gel polish so you would soak them to get them off.... nope she cut them and shoved a another fake nail between my real nail and fake nail. TALK ABOUT PAIN!!!! Nail polishes were nasty and old looking. Lady was not gentle. will never go there again!

Friendly staff, they do a decent job, but my favorite part is that when my infant daughter got fussy during my last fill, they got her out of her carseat and calmed down for me while my polish dried. Good people. Would recommend.

This was literally my first time getting my nails done and to make a long story short, don't go to this nail salon. I walked in asking for a Shellac which was $20 and they proceeded to give me a shellac manicure which was $30. Well naive me didn't know what they were even doing in the first place since it was my first time getting my nails done and I thought they were giving me the 20 dollar service when I specifically asked for it but they gave me the 30 dollar one instead. I will never be going back to that nail business again.

This is definitely the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. - The place smells like a mixture of cigarette smoke and grime. - The shellac selection is very limited. - The employees are rude and unhelpful. - It took well over an hour to get a simple shellac. - I specifically asked for a polish with no manicure because a manicure is $10 extra. They went ahead and gave me a manicure even when I specifically asked them to stop. They proceeded to charge me and I didn't want to be rude and fight the extra $10 charge. - Everyone in my group had the same negative experience.

Do not go here. Worst experience I have ever had at nail salon. The nail polish selection is horrible, but there were about 8 vinyl lux colors and about 10 opi colors, so I'm thinking, ok I can make this work. Pick out a vinyl lux. She tells me it's $5 extra. Some places it's extra, but not usually more than $3, and other places have a much better selection. I go back to pick out one of the dated opi colors. Pick a the most neutral one I can find. Sit down, and she whips out a nasty diy sponge remover you buy at Walmart and tells me to remove my polish (pic below). I have no idea how many fingers have been in that thing. But I do it. I was desperate for a manicure, and didn't have a ton of time. Then I started hearing this annoying nursery rhyme music, like kids singing itsy bitsy spider. It was louder than the television. It was her baby monitor, on full volume. I totally understand wanting to be able to hear your baby sleeping in the back room, but to play it as loud as she did, with that music was unprofessional. After I was done with the manicure (about 15 minutes later) she tells me it's $16, sign says $15. I usually don't ask about things like this, but since the experience was horrible, I did. She said its $1 extra for opi. Wth?! I have never heard of such a thing. She ended up giving me my dollar back, but was huffy about it. I know this review sounds petty, but I honesty have never given a 1 star to anything in my life. The one pro is that it was quick. For $15 seems like the average price for a manicure, and this was definitely below average.
