L.A. TAN in Sun Prairie, WI

Worst tanning experience ever! Bed shut off after 6 minutes of my 15 min tan. Asked clerk to add 9 more minutes . . . . She didn't know how and had to call her manager. She then says ok I set the bed for 9 minutes in room 5 . . . I was in room 3 previously . . . I asked why I had to move to a different room and she says "because every bed has to be cleaned before we can use it." Honest to God true story!

Make sure not to go off of the word of the employees. 100% read your contact word by word. That was my mistake. She was friendly and I thought she was being honest with me. Instead they set you up to be charged extra fees by giving you misleading information. And then fail to help you whether you've been a good customer or not.

Spray Tanning is my thing and I have been at quite a few different salons. I recently moved to the area and decided to try out LA Tan for the 1st time because of the awesome monthly deal. I have been in the spray tan booth 3 times and each time I come out I have huge blotches of tanning spray on my body. I told the schedulers each time and was told that I should just blot it off. I was also told the booth would be repaired and/or they are getting a new one. The booth looks old, dingy and not in proper working order.

REALLY irritated with the front desk lady today April 10 at 9:30 AM. I rarely tan and wanted to take advantage of the $5.00 Tuesday tan special. I told the middle aged lady checking me in this when I checked in. I also told her that I did not want to burn and I don't have experience w tan beds. She put me in a level three bed for 8 minutes I was charged $7.60 which included the $1.00 eye protection. I questioned the cost upfront and she told me it was more because of taxes. I questioned the cost as I exited and was told it cost more because of the level three bed, she apologized but did not offer refund. The money is not the issue, the customer service is the issue. Honestly, lose a client over $1.30? The bed provided a good base for my upcoming trip, but would guess there are other tanning salons that treat their clientele fair.

I give this place 5 stars. The tanning was good but what really set this place apart from other salons was the absolutely gorgeous girl they had at the front desk. Super cute and very helpful. Also had the most lovely brown eyes I've ever seen. Think her name is Taylor. Anyways, if you want a good tanning experience this is the place to go.
