KT Nail's & Spa in Davenport, IA

Todays experience to as the last straw! Dishonset practices. today I said 3 times I wanted a "basic manicure". She said a few things that were unintelligible, spoke with her boss in native language and gave me an upgraded "gel" manicure that I have never had and didn't request. They claimed I asked for this upgrade specifically. I paid for it, but I will never go back. Also, they purposely do not list their current prices and I believe they charge everyone differently based on what they feel at the time is appropriate. it's dishonest and they should be investigated for unfair business practices!

Such lovely staff and service. Everyone is so understanding and respectful. I always leave satisfied with my manicure or pedicure and they last SO long!

Two of us went in there together. She said she is the only employee working there now but could get us done. So, we went for it even though we wanted to get our nails together. Half way through the first pedicure someone else walked in for their nails to be done. She told them to sit down. After my pedicure was done (before she got to my friends)  she started working on the customer that walked in after us. She completed mine and said the other persons wouldn't talk long. This upset us because we were still next in line! We decided to leave and checked out. As we were leaving she told the girl that got there after us, this is there first time, they do not want to wait. So rude! She didn't recognize that even though we were new, her skipping people in line would not make us returned customers. I would not recommend! Also, I'm a person that likes a drink (wine, water, whatever!) when I'm sitting there for an hour+. She said nobody allows anything to drink while doing nails due to COVID. She completely lied, I get my nails done often and this has never been an issue/excuse. She also charged me $55 total when the menu read $48 for my service. Even if that excluded tax, it still doesn't equal up? Save your time and money! My pedicure isnt even that great for the price.

I'm one who's willing to go to a place based on someone I respect recommendations. My cousin and I came here today ready to have a relaxing time and we left not relaxed and in pain. She had been to this salon before and had good experiences but today was one that made us agree we would never be going back. Both of us had cuts on multiple fingers where the girls had cut our cuticles too low. Not only were we bleeding but our cuticles looked like they had been through war. Along with the botched cuticles my cousins nails were trimmed too short because the ladies got what we told them backwards. Not only were they too short but the nail was cut to the skin short. I absolutely do NOT recommend!

I will never return to this nail salon! Was in Saturday afternoon not busy at all 2 other customers were there and I was told I missed the crowd. The woman that did my nails was rude & unprofessional. I left with 3 crooked nails & paid $58!! I would give zero stars if I could. They have a facebook website that is full of bad reviews. Beware don't waste your money.
