Kaie Salon in Fort Lee, NJ

Booked a last minute appointment- they fit me in later that day. Shop was in a plaza I see but never go into but was convenient with parking and good location. Haircut with Kaie was excellent - He took time to ask what I wanted before they washed my hair and was precise with the cut. I got exactly what I wanted and will be back!

Today was my first time at Kaie Hair Salon. What a great place to go for someone like me who rarely goes to the hair salon unless I donate my hair. I am going through postpartum hair loss and know it's a completely normal thing. Between postpartum and dryness in the cold weather, it was taking a toll on my hair. Kaie is so knowledgeable about what I should do with my hair. I keep it as natural as I can, free from chemicals, coloring, etc. He gave me ideas what hairstyle works for my face, suggestions and encouragement about postpartum hair loss - it'll grow back, it's all because of hormones and such, and important to stay hydrated with water. Also, how important it is to take care of our scalp as a whole. From my hair being washed, going through my haircut, and shedding away a lot of weight from my hair through layers - 8 inches of dull hair - now freshened with a whole new look. I went through a treatment too after my hair was cut, then went back to the sink to freshen my scalp for the remainder and followed by a head massage I didn't know I needed. Lastly, I have my hair blown out and concluded with the finishing touches. Kaie, thank you so much for your patience, conversations, and suggestions. Brenda, thank you for washing my hair and the much needed massage. Going to Kaie salon, it was a chill vibe, clean and welcoming. All payments are accepted, make appointments ahead of time. Located on the second floor among other shops on the lower and upper level. It was a pleasure coming here and enjoying my experience here at Kaie Hair Salon. I have had Tim cut my hair twice now and both times he was attentive to what I wanted, easy to talk to (even with the slight language barrier between us, haha), but most of all, he's incredibly skilled at cutting asian hair. There aren't many hairstylists that I can trust as much as Tim. It's a shame I've left nyc, so I can't get my regular cuts, but I wish for everyone at this salon to do well. Tim, if you see this, you better make room for me when I come back!!

I have been coming here for the past year and I love it. Could not recommend it more. I always come for a perm and cut and it has been the only place that can actually make the inspo pictures I show them come to life. When it comes to my hair I am very specific but I have never left unhappy. Good prices as well I always go with Dan. He is really friendly, patient, kind, and good at his job. He does perms the best. :)

Tim Kim cut my hair today. They shampooed my hair first which was nice. Then cut my hair. It came out really good. I'm very happy with what he did with my hair and will most definitely return!
