My daughter and I went in this evening and I got a fill-in and a pedicure and she got a full set. We came in towards the end of the shift, but the services that we expected to receive we're not given because they were ready to go. There are plenty of other nail shops that would have serviced us regardless. Making money is the main objective. My fill-in wasn't the greatest. I have had a way better experience in getting my nails done by other Nail Tech's before. There are a lot of lumps in my nail polish and in the acrylic, they don't look natural and they are not filed very good but my pedicure was pretty good. I got a basic pedicure. But For the amount of money that it cost, it should have been better service overall and better quality offered.
My daughter got a full set, and she is not pleased with the way that they turned out. The shaping is not accurate, the lady told her that her nails were evenly shaped and they weren't. The acrylic is very thin, easy to break.
Basically, we will not be returning for nail services. The pedicure was pretty good, but for nail services, if you are very picky about how they look, and want them to look natural then I would say don't visit this nail shop.
I have never been to K's nails before, but a recommendation from a friend who does get her nails done there I decided to try it before going to a vacation location. I went on April 19 and had Fanny,,,, she started my pedicure and I wanted also a manicure with gel nails with extensions. She told me I could not get extension with gel nails. Which I was not happy with. My pedicure was not passable. As the rectangle, purple piece that she used took the skin off my ankle. Number one why would you exfoliate my ankle. It should only be used on the bottom of my feet. I kept saying ow ow, and now I have a spot on my ankle that is at least 1/2 in.² with all the skin off and is weeping and trying to form a scab. she did not clean under my toenails also. Then when I said, I wanted extensions with gel nails and she couldn't do it the other man that was there said he could do it. So he proceeded to put extensions on using acrylic nail product. And then put gel nails on top of that.
neither one of the people there knew that I was a hairdresser for 45 years. So he thought that I would not know that he used acrylics when he told me he was using gel on me. Now I have Extremely thick nails with gel polish on top. How am I ever going to get that off today is 28 April and I'm still putting antibiotic cream with Band-Aids on my heel and it is still weeping. If I were you I would think twice before going to this location.
My niece and I went today. She had a full set of acrylics and I had a natural manicure. It was SUCH a nice experience. The salon is clean, we were kindly and well attended to, and our nails and hands look great.
It was a very calm environment. Not noisy.
Loved it. Will return.
