15 minute pedicure. Didn't touch the cuticles. Put on lotion, no massage. It was the equivalent of a $40.00 polish change.
Did a nail appointment, it was quick and it came out bumpy, needed to be filed more. I could do a better job then them if i tried :(
Rude owners and they never open on time, if you are going to work with the public you should have SOME AMOUNT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, rushed work, they show up late, then once the door is open one of the owners does her makeup for as long as she likes vs taking customers. DO THAT AT HOME, it's not like you open at 5a you open at 10:15a and show up after 10:30a I have tried them 4x and each time have had gel polish chip or peel within the first 3 days. I travel for work and will continue to go elsewhere to have my nails both hands and toes done every two weeks ANYWHERE ELSE. I am a local so it's certainly not convenient to go somewhere else but I will be and recommend everyone else does as well. They are the only game in lake placid it's unfortunate another place doesn't open they would clean up here with how rude, how low quality their work is, and how unclean and cluttered they are as well.
Conflicted about my review of this place. I'm a local, and this really is one of the only reasonably priced places to get a simple mani or pedi unless you go to a really high end salon. The service is not bad- usually not a long wait and they do a decent job. Some of my manicures have been better than others, but none of them have been truly bad, and I've been here probably five times. My only complaint is that the salon is cluttered with non-salon related things; toys, clothing, fast food menus, etc. Most of these are left around by their children, who are very cute and nice but run around loudly most of the time. It's a little unprofessional. Overall, you can count on a decent manicure or pedicure here for reasonable prices.
Definitely not the cleanest salon I've ever been to but they got the job done. Reasonably priced (mani+pedi w/ gel was $60).
