I heard about this place and thpught I'd support. BAD IDEA! I had an appoint and still waited 40 minutes to be seen. After the wash and condition tgats really when it went bad. My hair is natural its dense in volune but I have fine hair they blow dried ir with a round brush flat iron AND hot combed some parts which was over kill. They didnt have the correct suze flat iron (a big clunky one) and put me under the hair dryer twice once one of the staff put molding on my edges after hot combing and blow drying them!!! And when I asked her what it was and why she was putting it on she became irritated and passive aggrsssive. The person I had an appointment with didn't even touch my hair until after this. I assume the staff person told her I had a problem with it because she became passive aggressive and started speaking to me in a condescending manner. She was rough with my head which I had to ask her to be more gentle and she did a very poor job of clipping my ends. The products used for styling and blow out were very poor because not even 2 hours my hair had poofed up!!!!! Almost 3 hrs and $65 later WASTED TIME ENGERY AND BAD SERVICE. THEY NEED BETTER COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH CLIENTS AND TO LISTEN TO THEIR CLIENT!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK !!!! Even my coworker who has gone tgeir before complained about the wait time....
Owner and stylistLafonia, supposed to get color retouch and flat iron per booked appointment. Also, confirmed I was there for retouch and flat iron prior to styling. However, she decided to change my original color, which I was not aware of until after it was already changed. Then she increased the price at the register an extra 40 dollars.This is like the 3rd time she has suddenly increased the price after styling. Very shady practices. Even referred 3-4 coworkers who spent money, still got ripped off. Didn't even have the decency to come speak with me after knowing I was upset and had issue with price increase. Also, do not like how she appears nice and friendly but talk about/makes fun of customers/visitors after they leave. Hope, the extra money she was pressed to squeeze out of me was worth it. Definitely, lost a repeat customer and any other business I have and would have sent her way.
This place is great for anyone that wants healthy hair! They are very accommodating with appointments, as I have a hectic work schedule. I am always completely satisfied after getting my hair done! I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to find a salon that offers fantastic results and great customer service!
