Julia's Hair Boutique in Wilmington, DE

I am more than happy to add my 5-star review to Julia's Hair Boutique Yelp profile.  Visiting Wilmington for the weekend I was in need of a roller set, you know, the way women used to style their hair sitting under a hair dryer to bake in the style.  Not only was Nancy in this boutique excited to set my hair, she also squeezed in quick trim and an eyebrow wax.
As I sat under the hairdryer I could see this hair salon is old school where kindness rules and your are made to feel welcome.
No doubt about it -- I plan to return to Julia's Hair Boutique the next time I visit with family in Wilmington!

I've been getting my hair cut and styled by Kelly since I was in a high school; thankfully, my good friend let me know she was at Julia's Hair Boutique, so I set up a cut and color there.  It's hard to imagine that such a well-designed salon could be set up in this little tiny row of stores, but it's amazing!  I can tell that there's quite a few loyal customers there, just by watching the stylists interact with them.  The pricing is more than fair, you always feel comfortable when you get there and nothing less than all put together when you leave!  Kelly puts a lot of thought into how she processes and cares for your hair - mine hasn't been this healthy in years, and I insist on having it colored.  I lock in a spot with her every 6 weeks, because she has a lot of loyal customers.  Highly and exclusively recommend!

My mom had scheduled the appointment for me, it was my first time visiting the salon and it certainly will not be my last! I had a pretty bad matted knot on the back of my head and I had given up on trying to get it out myself and I figured it was just too far gone by this point. I had relayed that to my hair dresser upon walking in the door and told her that she could just cut it off if it's too much to get out. But both her and another hair dresser that was  working in the salon helped me with lots of patience (they worked on my knot for well over an hour) and were able to save a lot of hair thankfully. My hair was to my butt and I made a drastic change of getting it to just below my shoulders. I received copious amounts of complements on the hair cut! The staff that was working that day were absolutely amazing!

Julia has been my hairdresser for many, many years.  I never trusted anyone else with my hair but we've moved away and I missed her so much.  I was back in town today and had an appointment. As usual, she gave me a great haircut and beautiful highlights. I will always come to Julia when I am in town!

Julia's is an adorable full-salon. The women who work there are fun, personable, and polite. Everything is clean and you are guaranteed to love the service you came in for.
