Out of town and came here. $50 pedi. She massaged my legs maybe a minute each and never even lotioned or massaged my feet! My toenails look okay, but paid $50 for a 15 minute procedure. Wish I made this much money in 15 minutes Would not go back!
This is my first time leaving a yelp review, and, in fact, only signed up to leave this review. I am a long time loyal customer of John's Nails. I always would tell people to go there because how nice and friendly they are. Well, this past Saturday evening I went there for a pedicure, and had an unpleasant experience. The woman who did my nails had long dark hair with streaks and short bangs. If she had to tell me to move my feet are certain way, she would then speak in her native tongue and the two other workers next to her they would laugh and look at my feet and then look at me. This made me feel uncomfortable. Although most of us cannot understand their language, you do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that they're talking about you. This behavior is highly unprofessional, and it was disrespectful and hurtful. I will never patronize their business again, and this is from someone who's gone to them probably as long as they've been opened.
Didn't take all of the proper steps to complete a gel manicure and it was peeling and chipping off the next day. The nail tech told me the color i chose (equivalent of Funny Bunny) was "ugly" and pick something else, but it was only because it take several coats and time to make it look even. The guy at the front desk was very friendly though!
I normally have a great experience with John nails but I was disappointed this time. I got a full acrylic set with gel polish. Thankfully they were not busy and helped me immediately. However, despite not being busy I was rushed through. Three of my cuticles were cut deeply, the paint job is uneven on each nail, and the top coat doesn't completely cover side to side on most of my nails. Again, I normally love my experience here but I'm sad to be disappointed today!
