JCPenney Salon in Montgomery, AL

I placed an order on Dec 10th and selected to have my item shipped to store for pickup. On December 14th it showed it was delivered to store. I went to pick it up and nobody could find it. For 3 days I could not get anyone to answer phone. I finally called corporate. I never received my item. So corporate refunded my money an reordered my sheets for me. Jan. 15th I still had not received them. I emailed asking for tracking number and they cancelled my order instead of giving me tracking number. I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

I wish I could give 0 stars but I can't. The salon that is inside is terrible. I showed up for my appointment and was told the lady was out and would be back soon. About 40 minutes later she showed up. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and she said she could do it no problem (literally all I wanted was a long bob style) and she butchered my hair!! I had long hair all the way down to above my behind, so it's not like I didn't have long enough hair for it. It is so freaking short and when I asked why she kept cutting it she said my hair flips in the back so it needs to be shorter to stop the flipping....what b.s. i mean that's what a flat iron is for. Now i am left with uneven, choppy, bowl cut hair...it's not even a Bob style

I have tried several stylists at this salon over a period of a few months. The stylists and receptionists are unreliable. I had one stylist tell me that I couldn't expect to have my hair look the same as it did the last time I came. WHY NOT? That means you need to pay attention to what you're doing as well as the client's requests.

There have also been times where I've called to make appointments and I've been hung up on, or been put down for an appointment with a stylist and the stylist didn't know about it.

Every. Single. Time. I've been, each stylist has HEAVILY used oil sheen before and during the process of flat ironing my hair. Who uses oil sheen anymore?? I have also been kept waiting over an hour before the stylists were able to begin my appointment. Pure unprofessionalism, especially for the price that is charged per service.

Awesome Jcpenney clearance sections. Stuff I thought I was gonna pay $17.99 for, I paid a little over $2 after 25% off clearance. Just wished I would know the final price so it's not a guessing game. (Even though it was an awesome deal)

Cons : employees at the woman's section like to group together and chat. I stood in front of 4 empty registers and waited until they stopped just staring at me and actually helped me check out. Also they don't always ask for my rewards # so I don't get the points I paid for

I only came to buy gift cards for Christmas.

I decided to take advantage of a promotion, but once I bought the cards, no information or instructions were given on how to take advantage of the promotion.

And so I asked about it.
And finally I found out how.

It took 3 people to make this happen.

Three people.

It was pitiful.
