Horrible service. Ordered something online. Went to store to pick it up. After waiting 15 minutes in line -the computer went down- they called someone to get my order. After another 10 minutes finally got my order. No one was even apologetic. It was like I inconvenienced them. I won't be back.
A busy, crowded Penny's...looks like what once operated on two floors was all jammed into one. Decent selection of good quality items...and there are deals to be found. When I'm at the mall, which admittedly isnt too often, I typically swing through and look for deals. It's worth the stop, and I usually pick up a thing or two!
Stopped in today- christmas eve day- and visited Fine Jewelry......I got my hubby a pair of gorgeous diamond earrings......the sales guy, a young African-American male was extremely nice and friendly. He was just completely super to deal with. He was well versed in the 'grading' of diamonds and just had the nicest demeanor about him......utmost professional, polite.......sale was a breeze......I will definitely return. What a nice young guy.......made shopping a pleasure.
I went here on Black Friday and this place was filled with shoppers. Much to my surprise, this JCP has been condensed to one floor, and it's hectic! If you can't find the department you're looking for, just walk in a circle until you hit it. Knowing how this store was laid out before, I don't like the new set up. I'm sure they did it for budgetary reasons, but it felt very congested. Granted it was Black Friday, but even Kohl's has more shopping room. The home section bleeds right into the salon, and the salon bleeds right into the children's section. There's just a lot happening in a small amount of space. I probably won't be persuaded to come back here unless there's a really great sale or deal.
I know there are reasons as to why the location moved within the mall, but I have to say it might have been the wrong reason. It's smaller, much smaller. And it might have been just me, but it's also confusing inside. It just seems like they threw the store together really without much care. I kind of got irritated and basically turned around, and then turned around again and made my way out of the store. I hope this isn't any indication that JCP will be leaving us for good any time soon.
