JCPenney Salon in Evansville, IN

Me and my boyfriend went in looking for a suit and they had a great selection, found exactly what we were looking for. Dressing rooms were clean and tidy.

I have been to this one for years. However, the last months it has been super disorganized. I only found one dressing room. There are no clear signs of dressing rooms for children. We spent fifteen minutes roaming around the store for a childrens' dressing room. So I decided to go to the ladies' one instead. My kids were almost finished and a CSR asked me in the rudest tone if I knew about the other dressing rooms. I explained that nothing was clearily marked.

I proceeded to the check out with four items. The cashier was rude when I told her they need more clearly marked signs for dressing rooms. She asked me three times if I wanted a credit card. I said no. She walked away and did not ring us up.  

Another woman who was older did the same thing. I told her no. Then I decided to cancel my order after she laughed at me for not wanting a credit card. I just paid off my credit cards in full. I have a limited income and do not want debt right now.

They have tons of clothes scattered about. The CSRs are rude. I wanted to eventually buy a semi-formal from here for my brother's wedding. That is NOT happening now! Mark my words they will be closed within two years. Rude, rude, rude!!!

I have shopped at Penney's in Evansville for years.  Their store was very neat and organized.  NOT ANYMORE!!!  What a dump!  It is like looking for something at a yard sale!  I get stressed looking for something.  There are clothes everywhere.  Especially on the floor.  I was with my husband looking for a dress shirt and some socks.  I kid you not, I picked up 80 pair of socks off the floor!  We then proceeded to look for me a dress.  YIKES!!!  What a disaster area.  I looked for about 5 mins then left.  I can't handle the mess.  If they just had one person go around to each department and pick up things, it would help.  #cleanituppenneys

I ordered two pair of athletic pants from JC Penny. I was never sent any updates for the order. I had to manually go in and check the status using the order number. 10 days later it showed I could pick them up at the store. I went to the store and there was only one pair of pants. The lady at the store told me she could not help me with the other pair. She also said she would never order online for JC Penny. Great response for and employee. I asked to cancel the other pair. She said she could not cancel that I had to call online customer service. When I called customer service they said I had to cancel at the store. After almost a month and numerous phone calls with two different managers. No pants and my credit card is still charged. I filed a case with Discover to get my money back, Still waiting.

They really need to clean the restrooms here!!! They always smell so bad. Also, some of the employees are a little rude! I like to visit the Sephora in here and that is pretty much it.
