JCPenney in Kennewick, WA

Minus 1star! The open in time for lunch. What happened to "store hours"? My experience was in mens department, so my comments are as well. NEVER EVER AGAIN! No customer service* Nobody available to answer questions. Merchandise was not sorted by size, style or color options. I had to literally dig thru racks to find one item I was looking for. Second 50% off? Not if there are no more! Check out, *she gestures I'm to come to where she is ! Excuse me? You get paid to be here, I sure as heck don't! Pick it up, take it wherever you want to be and ring the darned order up! Pathetic shadow of The Golden Rule store. Mourning a once go-to for everything place. Never no more!

This is for the portrait studio.. Absolutely horrible service. They cancelled my son's appointment for Senior pictures twice! Both times on the day of the appointment, (the second appointment was cancelled 15 minutes before). I was given a variety of excuses: They have to close a 4:30 on Wednesdays so they can close out the books. They double-booked the appointment. They forgot to schedule a photographer. There was a chemical spill and they have to close for a week. I chose them because I've used them in the past, at other locations, but I'll never go there again. Now we are out of time to book another photographer, so no senior pictures for my son, as if this year didn't suck enough.

We found shoes and jeans. We asked them to be held at a register near where we entered the mall planning to purchase them on our way out. Walked the rest of the mall looking for toys (found nothing) in about 15 minutes. Went back to the register to purchase our items and they, nor the associate Chad, were anywhere to be found. They couldn't even find him on the radio to ask what he had done with our items! Apparently they didn't want that $100 sale. We left with nothing. No wonder they're going down.

Hair salon: First time here, came in to get a haircut for my two little girls. We were the first ones here. Came from pasco to Kennewick. They opened at 10:00 and couple of stylist were running late. We have been waiting for over half hour and still nothing. How unprofessional the employees are. They come in whenever they want. Will never come here again, I'm ready to leave. This place is a joke. They need more responsible staffing and management that cares. What a joke!!! Then when I'm leaving she decides she wants to help me and wants me to wait another hour till 11:30, to get me in.

This visit was excellent! They aren't always so this was a pleasant surprise. The cashier that helped me (Alyssa) was AWESOME! As I was checking out, I mentioned there was a pair of shoes I wanted but they didn't have them in my size. She said she could check inventory and they might have them in the stock room. She checked and it showed they had one pair left. She went to the back to find them for me! They weren't in there so she continued looking on the sales floor and found them in an obscure place where they didn't belong. She really went above and beyond. I appreciated that so much. Especially in a world where that is so infrequent today!
