JCPenney in Greendale, WI

Love shopping here with my family or myself. They have lots of sales on anything from clothes, accessories and house stuff. I've been coming here for a very long time. But since Covid I stop coming. Now I came here, came back to shop for the things I love . Thank you for your very good customer service and treating everyone great.

Bought a watch here a few years back. They previously offered courtesy re-sizing. Went in today and was told they don't do that anymore. I guess I won't be buying anymore watches here

You don't need to read the stores in the media to see that JC Penney is dying, the evidence is quite clear when you visit their stores: Sparsely-filled salesfloors, worn and dated carpeting, poorly-merchandised sections, and signs missing letters abound at this store. I really wanted to find things that I liked so I could support the store, but outside of one item on clearance, there just wasn't much to be had and not really any reason to return anytime soon. On a positive note, the experience returning my online order was efficient and painless. Thank goodness for small favors.

At any given time you can expect to find about 5 employees working this store. The overall selection is fair. Brookfield has more available. I wouldn't be surprised at ALL if this location is the next store to close down. In my mind if you have an item in an ad then all of the physical locations should have it in store.

I have always loved JCP and I thought with the closing of the Boston Store they would step up to grab the customers. No, this did not happen. The store has an uncomfortable feeling. Very unclean, junky, departments in disarray, dirty cracked flooring in elevators, walls near elevators need painting, bathrooms that I can only describe as disgusting. The Junior department is unbelievable. Dark, dingy, ugly clothes all over the floor, mixed up sizes on racks. Some racks so thick with clothes, it is impossible to find anything. The selection is at best...bad. Nothing there new, exciting, trendy, etc. Prices around the store are a bit high. Who sells kitchen towels for $10? I would have thought they would have jumped at the chance to clean up this store when Boston Store left. I see opportunity that no one takes. I don't know who the manager of this store is, or the CEO, but should these people have their jobs? Their indifference to their store and the customer's needs guarantee that this store with close someday soon. You removed all the various department employees that help the customer, yet you are paying big money to someone who is taking the store down. What exactly is the long range plan for this store? The Nike sales are nice at 25% off; however, a small rack with all very large sizes. Where is the merchandise? Again, stock is old or outdated sports wear. I found about 15 t-shirts XXls on a rack. That's it? The shoe department looks like someone opened all the boxes and threw the shoes on the floor, You can't find the right sizes, there is no one to ask...only open boxes with one shoe. The ladies dressing rooms are dirty and ugly. Doors don't close, big holes in the walls and doors, hooks missing. Doors don't close or lock, and walls in serious need of paint. Maybe some new carpet? All in all an unclean, cluttered, poorly managed store. It is not a pleasure shopping here. You can't wait to get out of this store. To me it shows a lack of respect for the customer. I am afraid that JCP will end up like the Boston Store. The people at the top, making all the money, are clueless. Get rid of them, and use the money to modernize this store and please clean those bathrooms and dressing rooms. Offer better merchandise especially for the junior department. If you want me to shop there and spend my money, then JCP needs to make their store inviting in every way. I am not a real big fan of Kohl's, but their store is clean, neat and orderly. Bathrooms are clean and attractive. Also, a good selection of clothes for teens. Perhaps you could consult with them on how to maintain a store. By all means, find some new upper management employees who have what it takes to be imaginative and competitive. Get rid of the highly paid "do nothings" that have been running these stores for too long.
