Jane Alea Salon in Pasadena, CA

I am saddened to see the review by Martha A. below as this was a false review. I was there for that interaction and the staff was anything but rude nor discriminatory. Martha A. Came in with a family member WITHOUT an appointment for a consult. Each stylist has a designated slot for each of their clients. Making it quite difficult to step away. My stylist tried to make it work by asking other stylist and no one could step away as they were busy with their clients who made appointments, including myself (who flew from NY just to get my hair done here at this salon). My stylist was empathetic to her as she let her know that everyone was busy and suggested she text the salon to guarantee a slot for her family member.Of course, Martha left upset and felt the need to personally attack the business by bringing race into it. Which is absurd since the staff is diverse and so is the client population (including myself). My experience at the salon was nothing but a luxury. The stylists were absolutely kind and attentive. The space is clean and in a good location for food and a cute view of the sweet baby ballerinas that walk by. It is such a great salon for a serotonin boost. This is the exact reason I am so committed to coming here versus finding a salon that doesn't require a flight

We walked in for consultation we were told to sit and she'll be with us ... and then 10 min later said I just realized I'm going to be foiling for awhile ..... send us an email .. customer service sucks here I will never return I will go take my business elsewhere I felt we were discriminated because we were Hispanic

I flew all the way from MD to get my hair colored and I cannot express how amazed I was at the end result! The service, the care, the information and explanation just made the whole experience so great! I will be flying out again to get my hair done at Jane Alea Salon by Sara from here on out.

I scheduled a haircut with Sara today and I am SO happy with how it came out! I wanted to keep my hair long but cut off some of the dead ends so I asked for a little trim with some face framing layers and long layers in the back. My hair looks so healthy and still long which I love!! She is the only person I trust with my hair and I'm excited to go back in 2 months to maintain my healthy hair. Plus Sara is always so fun to talk to and I have enjoyed every visit to Jane Alea salon because my girl never disappoints!! I highly recommend Sara for anything from haircuts to coloring bc she absolutely knows what she's doing and she cares about you and your hair!

I had the honor of getting a haircut with Ronika at Jane Alea Salon. I recently had shortened my hair but it was missing layers. I found Ronika on Instagram and booked my haircut with her. She made scheduling and booking so easy for me. She washed my hair, gave me overall feedback on my hair and it's condition/health. She gave me the best haircut and did a blowout after bringing my hair to life. I am so happy I went to her and trusted her with my hair. I will be returning to her soon for my color and future haircuts as well. I also referred my mom to her as well, that's how satisfied I was. Ronika not only provided excellent work, she also provided amazing recommendations and products for my hair which made me so happy to hear. The salon was had a chill and welcoming vibe, parking was easy to find either on the street or the parking lot in the back of Arcade Lane which you can enter on Green Street. Thank you so much! I will see you again soon!
