J&J Nails Spa in East York, PA

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. After 3 years we decided to try it again. Nothing changed, got worse. Tina the owner is not professional or friendly at all. My mom and I made appointments at 12 for mani and pedi, we told Tina I had to be at work by 2 o'clock that day. Everything went well up until my mom and I had our toes done by a male who clearly had no idea what he was doing. He would take the tools across our toes and acted like he was clipping and cleaning them. I eventually stopped him and said I would just pay for half the service (pedicure with no polish) because he clearly wasn't giving my feet the job I was planning on paying for. Tina insisted that she would take over 10 minutes after I was already sitting and waiting. I assured her that I was fine with waiting and I had to go to work. She snarked an attitude and told me that was my problem and I'll be paying the full service. Crying and trying to explain why I wasn't happy she just kept yelling at me and told me I do this every time. When I haven't even been there in over 3 years. The place was packed, and we stopped going in the first place because they could never get us in and out on time. Always had different, new people. Can't stand inconsistent business! You over book appointments and don't have enough good quality workers. No worries Tina, we will never be back!

I got a pedicure and dip nails. Service was good, I am very happy with my nails. I would come back here again.

Marvelous Experience! I visited this store thanks to my boyfriend's recommendation. I had scheduled with Dane Nguyen on the very last day of the year and had a wonderful experience. Dane suggested me very enthusiastically and patiently waited for me to choose the color (yeah, I must say that this is one of the nail salons with many beautiful colors and you will spend a lot of time deciding). I told him that I wanted my nails to be durable and sparkly, he suggested I do deep then paint a cat eye, and then he saw that my hands were too empty so l asked him to do a freestyle drawing and he did not disappoint! Finally, Dane even lent me a huge diamond so l could do a video with this adorable set of nails. I highly recommend this nail salon and l'll come back here when I come to visit PA again!

Nina did a great Pearl Pedicure. She knew what she was doing cleaning up the cuticles. My calves felt rejuvenated after the firm massage and heated towel wrap. This is a clean, odorless and relaxing salon.

After trying many of the salons in York--J&J never fails! I always have consistent results from these guys. Thank you :-)
